So is this all some sort of distraction operation?
- Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Monday announced that the Chicago police officers involved in the botched 2019 raid on Anjanette Young’s home have all been assigned to desk duty as the CPD’s watchdog agency investigates.
We told everyone a few days ago - Groot is going to lash out and everyone is going to be stripped.
Now we have to wonder if it's to distract from this:
- ....did you know that a certain Sergeant who is the Commanding Officer of the following: Civil Rights / Hate Crimes Unit, Special Activities Section, School Visitation Unit and is the face of the CPD at funerals (CO of Honor Guard Unit) was arrested at Hammond Indiana Horseshoe Casino? Apparently under the influence she engaged a casino employee using racial slurs and then punched a Black Casino Security Guard? She was promptly arrested by the Hammond Police. Food for thought, did she take her Company Car with her? There’s also a mug shot of her from Hammond Police Department

The whole incident is stupid. Big fuck up! All they had to do was get her dressed. Unfortunately Lightfoot and the media has made it all about identity and race. Now all they say is “black woman and that’s she’s a social worker.” Both completely irrelevant to the incident. All that matters is they did a shit warrant and didn’t let the occupant get dressed immediately. If the woman were white would they be reporting it as a “white social worker?” I think we all know.

They said the same thing on every search warrant I was on. In fact, I've never seen somebody say we had the right place and let me show you where the stuff is so you don't have to tear everything apart. I've shown pictures of offenders to moms and grammas who swear up and down they don't know them.
This was not a “botched police raid”. A wrong address is a mistake, circumstances that nobody is divulging. CPD acknowledged the error and completed all the required protocols to remedy the matter. No CPD member had any or all reports hidden or kept from authorized persons examination.
What is known is that it was a coverup and suppression of information contained in City Hall Law Department under the full control of the Office of Mayor. Why is the FakeNews media still calling this a “botched police raid”.
Did Larri cover up the release of FOIA and approve the entire settlement process or what? And why again? This wasn’t the first wrong address warrant CPD has dealt with and those instances usually came after bad information from questionable sources. Then there’s the correct address filled with active resistors. These matters are routinely corrected and settled.
So who hit the Blame the CPD reset button?
CPD acted in accordance, the plaintiff files her grievance and that usually comes with the piled on CR-CL probably no later than a week or month after the allegations. Who sat on, decided, and approved the entire CPD snafu and internal investigation some 22 months ago??? Anyone get an admonishment way back in Feb/March 2019 ? Is the new Larri-HashBrown disciplinary measure slapped on the warrant team in excess of a previous determination?
Acting under the full letter of the law, in good faith and according to General Order and first order of business by Lyin’Larri is blame and (re)discipline the Police in a media press event.

I am from Poland and have lived in Chicago for the past 10 years and America does not realize what you are going to experience after this election. My grandmother was from Radom, Poland and she lived in a high rise that use to look like Cabrini Green. Basically all of Poland looks like this because of the war. When Poles needed to taught a lesson (usually involving stealing from factories or blackmarket activities) they would call everyone out between the building and we told to leave their doors unlocked. This was usually in the middle of the night and cold. They would go through random flats and then start throwing furniture out the windows. Then they would burn the furniture. They would make the people watch and they wouldn't say why they did it but everyone knew. They didn't kill, but they used fear.
America is well into the second or third stage of this psychological warfare. I am surprised to see how censorship is so tolerated in this country and your willingness to let your factories leave your country. Poland has always fought hard to not let our farmland and factories be bought by Germany. We have fought the EU and we still retain our autonomy and our values. Why do you give up so easily? Why don't Americans fight for their freedoms? I don't understand this hatred for Trump. Our leaders speak much more offensively towards everyone and they drink and smoke. This is life, people are people and you should support Mr. Trump because he cares about saving his country.

I think this sergeant is working a detail to identify a hate crime crew working both sides of the Stateline, that's how some downtown hack will characterize it. Seriously, as someone who has had a take home car for the majority of my career it’s not as often abused as you think. Yes, the rules for exempts are different then for non-exempt, that’s why they have regular plates, but the majority of us who have regular M, or MP plate cars only take them to/from work or in many cases to/from our district of residence to our office -HQ, Homan, Area, if we aren’t supposed to have take home authorization.

Having an open CR does not always mean no retirement star. It depends what the allegation is and if it could lead to criminal charges or loss of job. Which is only fair

What's it like to be so utterly clueless? This wasn't a "mistake," nor her first "mistake." She's a connected drunk who makes poor decisions, which are then covered up by her buddies. Not being able to behave properly after consuming alcohol, and then continuing to abuse alcohol, and then committing crimes while drunk, are not mistakes. They are purposeful bad decisions, encouraged by her constant ability to get away with her antics, due to her friends covering for her. Alcohol treatment would've been a wise decision. And this cluelessness is why we end up with these situations. As the police, you should know that an informant will say just about anything to help themselves out. Your job, as the police, is to fact check the informant's info as much as you possibly can, BEFORE writing up the warrant paperwork, and BEFORE taking any other steps, ESPECIALLY the step where you forcibly enter a residence with guns drawn. We have computers to verify certain info, like someone's address, what vehicles are registered to them, where they've been arrested, what addresses they've used each time they're arrested, etc. All of that info is then combined with actually driving by the target location, doing surveillance to watch for your target, any vehicles they use, any illegal activity, such as obvious drug sales from the location, etc. You double and triple check everything, make your informant point out and verify everything, find actual records and proof of anything you can, and cover all the bases BEFORE you even think about hitting a door. Anything else is lazy, irresponsible, and just plain stupid. In some cases, that leads to lawsuits and people losing their jobs. If you want to be one of the clueless idiots doing search warrants in this climate, you have to take at least these basic steps before you hit the door. Thinking you can just go hit a fucking door because shorty ray ray says there's a bad guy there is just fucking stupid. There's no "good faith" protection if you do nothing to verify the criminal's story you're acting upon. "But, your honor, a felon said that was the place! Why wouldn't we just trust him?" You shouldn't ever do a search warrant, and you probably shouldn't be the police. You aren't immune to shit if you didn't verify the information given by a CRIMINAL. Moron.
