As an astute e-mailer writes:
The departments silence on the current Captains and Director (of GEU) promotions is deafening!!! It’s no mistake or oversight...Carter and Brownie don’t want the promotion of Sadiaa and the political hack,Jimmy Sanchez, being derailed by the media or some at City Hall.
Why are they rushing Jimmy through the process...could they be violating a long standing rule about hiring a retired exempt back as a civilian, to perform the same task as they performed prior to retiring???

Move along here, it’s nothing to see. She plastered it everywhere she could. She was clearly not hiding a thing. She was put in for Captain two years ago under Rham and plastered that everywhere to. But get this, Rham hated Carter and so did Eddie. They did it to piss Carter off.
I don’t believe he can get a second pension under the new law but why the hell is Lightfoot doing this kind if garbage? This city is so disgusting. Lightfoot is just like all the rest of the politicians.

There are plenty of other experienced exempt idiots on this department who can run the gang unit. The city does not need to hire back a retiree with a shady past. If Sanchez liked the job so much then he should have never left. Fuck him.
The hiring of Jimmy Sanchez has been in the works a year before he retired. Everyone in Gangs and Narcotocs knows this. Back and forth with the Dept until finally the new Sup agreed. This was no rush job.
Eliminate the useless Captain rank and half the deputy chiefs.

They are hiring back many there are and retire detectives back all the retired people paying them like $32 an hour part time work no Benefits, no holidays no vacations all part time this is a way to get around hiring coppers with Benefits as the department is decimated with people getting the heck off of this department this is what is happening very sneaky very sneaky and John he’s not saying I was just like he’s not even talking about the pension because he doesn’t want to!

Bringing back Sanchez does nothing to help the department . Sanchez was an exempt member for 3+ years and he did nothing to help bring down crime . Ask yourself , while he was an exempt , did he make a “ change “ ? The answer is NO . Sanchez was business as usual , promoting friends & other political hacks . Remember all , he promoted no one from 010 when he was Commander there . All of Sanchez’s merit picks were from gangs because he owed ! Instead of bringing fresh eyes into the unit , the city decides to bring back a guy who never advanced the police departments agenda ! He only helped friends get bigger salaries with promotions that were not earned . GO AWAY SANCHEZ .

He shouldn't be hired back based upon the EEO beef he received.....the last week he was working. He retired "under investigation" ....meaning he should not have retirement credentials and can't carry. Only if the superintendent allows it.

When someone is retiring from the city. There is supposed to be a two year wait before they are hired back by the city or a contractor who does business with the city. This rule was put in when the hired truck scandale went down. Yes rules are made to be broken.

When stuff has to get done favors may have to be called. 8 Month Hashed Browns still doesn’t know who’s who and can only go on others advice when it come to personnel.
Larri needed council votes, needs reliable allies here and there. What’s a merit or favor bump worth, Larri isn’t tied to anyone here but does listen to the few and far patrons, benefactors, donors suggestions on how to run CPD.

Gonna hit 775 homicides this year and yet Sanchez is the answer? Come on. How this guy is a perfect fit for this Dept now is a mystery to all. He obviously has pretty good clout or he’s got embarrassing dirt on the department. But let’s be real, he’s not the only higher up who has retired with a pension and come back as a civilian. Wasn’t there one in R&D?

Lightfoot is the 'worst' politician next to Pelosi and a few on the hill......I don't even think Daley was this bad.....and that's saying a lot. She is SO bad she beats Foxx out by a mile... say hello to my 'little friend' Preckwinkle, the next Mayor of Chicago.

What do you mean? They have the 5'2" gym instructor that received a LAPA promo for trying to bang recruits. A real 3% like he used to say.
Worked with him in A/4. Loved getting on the paper and usually resulted in lawsuits.
Does anyone know where Groot get her law degree? Was it some off-shore on-line school? Probably DePaul or some other school with the city and state in the title. Worst mayor in America and she has a lot of Democratic competition. I hope Biden gets her out of here as fast as possible.

Lori went to University of Chicago Law School. Foxx went to Southern Ill. University Law School.

That's the point. They Hired him back as an analyst not a front line commanding officer. and to whoever said who could do the job better than Sanchez. I'll go with about 50 Lieutenants and a few Sgts as well. Sanchez is over rated as he has zero leadership and organizational skills.
I guess no one knew Sanchez’s background. Maybe someone should look into his disciplinary history and who his partner was for years. I will give a hint. His partner went to prison and that scandal changed the department forever.

So who all Made captain ? And when is the Lt class to replace all these Lts ? They were already short 30 Lts . Most districts only have 4 Lts .
How short are the sgts ? When is part 2 of SGt exam ? I have more questions than there are answers. LMAO
