Turns out being a "sanctuary city" is expensive...when you actually have to do sanctuary $hit.
Supposedly, Chicago has run out of money for the migrants. We've gotten a couple emails about it that the budgeted money ran out around to 01 July. We don't know if this was a line item in the city budget, but voters need to know where the money is (A) going and (B) coming from.
Is there an organization that exists to keep voters informed?
Don't say "the media SCC" because that's bull$shit and we all know it.

Rumor has it that they spent the “Covid Money”,’ which was earmarked for first responders and essential workers who worked during the PlannedDemic (but never saw a dime of it), on your city’s newest democratic voting base.
Something along the lines of 20-25K per employee was sent to Governor Fred Flintstone via the federal government only to be squandered and then spent on the illegal immigrants invading our country.
They are not migrants but illegal aliens. This whole sanctuary city bullshit is a complete failure, a scam and a political game. Everyone's kissing their asses - from hospital staff to libtards giving them whatever they desire, including cash. Yet we have senior citizens and veterans who can't afford food and nobody gives a shit.

The mayor puts our money where his mouth is.
Long term, the Ciudad Sanctuario’s survival is dependent on illegal aliens as nobody else wants to live here anymore. If the Ciudad can get some fed $$$$ to help with the settlement, the illegals will start paying sales taxes, rents, etc…..Eventually many will establish small businesses and money laundering operations.
Tax them all so that the Ciudad can meet its pension obligations.
Where is the money going? Chicago politics should answer that, some politician or a politically connected entity. Nothing gets done and nobody gets any kind of contract unless the wheels are greased. Names change but the art of the deal doesn't.
Time for the “Hate has no home here” people of Chicago to step up! Which we know will never happen cause those people are totally full of it.
I think the GOP should start going to the districts and shelters to help these folks out. Get them one of these Chicago IDs and whatever else the need to get jobs then take them to all these places w help wanted signs. Get them jobs and let them stand on their own. They aren’t going back so might as well make it easier on us. Also as soon as the GOP begins to embrace them the Dems will find a solution to this.

Neighbor works for Streets and Sans. SS employees were promised 20K check for working during the COVID pandemic. Word came from their bosses and their corrupt union clowns they'll be receiving this check "soon". Supposedly Fed Govmint paid the city but the city never paid its "essentially" boned employees. This payment was suppose to cover SS, Poleeceses, Firepersons, and all other departments who worked during Covid. Anyone get theirs yet?

100% solid post. J_kitten (like the new nickname) is in it all for himself and his "boys". I have said it for at least 30 years that the fop is weak and useless and only use the position to better themselves. Whenever you have someone in that position who has a chance to benefit themselves or the rank and file members, they will always look out for themselves.
Dump fop and get a union who has no skin in the game, like MAP or others, whatever. You can keep fop around as a social thing, golf outings, benefits etc because basically thats all they are good for.

This is true. Just like the city hiring new officers, FOP is lowering the standards for what it takes to make someone a delegate eligible to go to Vegas to vote. You have to be a unit rep or watch rep in ‘good standing’ to have your hotel and flight comped. But John wants to stack votes so he and the rest of those clowns are circumventing the process and allowing members to just call the Lodge and register to go. Imagine a free night in Vegas, compliments of your dues money, as long as you go to the convention for however long it takes you to drop a ballot in the box for John’s narcissistic ass.
There are Plan 1’s at police stations regularly. That’s a 5-7 ambulance response from CFD. Ambos are sent to police stations way more often than usual now deleting EMS services more than it’s already depleted taking Peanut and JoJo to the hospital for a sore toe.
