Yesterday, we posted about fake credentials. Today, we ask about criminal credentials....and no one in government knows squat about it:
Years before Rick Heidner became a major force in video gambling in Illinois, he was the landlord of a west suburban bingo palace whose operators went to federal prison for skimming $2.9 million in profits from veterans charities.
Federal agents busted the operation in Northlake, and 10 men were indicted in 2002 on charges of racketeering, operating an illegal gambling business and money-laundering.
Heidner, who wasn’t charged with any crime, says he had no involvement in the bingo operation. "I was just the landlord,” he says.
It's the Chicago/Cook County/Illinois Way for sure. Sons, nephews, daughters, uncles, wives, all sorts of relatives of mobsters always seemed to land a decent city job. Not to dissimilar the way aldermanic relatives always landed some sort of supervisory role via horsetrading amongst the City Council members.
Or in the CPD.

Sounds like the 'Bank The Blue' non-profit organization I came across on the internet. Their mission is to end the stigma concerning police officers suffering from poor mental health. The Vice President is Janice Dillon. Never dealt with her but heard of the family.
The problem I have is that get this: The Treasurer of the organization is Anthony Escamilla. That's right, the corrupt jagoff thief that stole money from city has the responsibility of handling this non-profit group's money donations. It's disgusting that a known scumbag like him would have anything to do whatsoever with an organization claiming to be supportive of officers suffering mental health problems, and trying to lower police suicides.
Please, any CPD or outside LE thinking of reaching out for support, look elsewhere from using this organization. No matter how many cops they claimed to have helped, it's a slap in the face to any decent cop, on the job or retired, to have this lowlife narcissistic moron Anthony Escamilla connected to them.
This story needs more legs...... he just gave mayor Johnson 25,000 . Johnson takes money from this pos.

If the Independent Monitoring Team peeps in charge of implementing and enforcing the Consent Decree were legit they’d be all over this like stink on shit. The CPD is likely the most poorly run, ass backwards police agency in the nation. CPD has always found a way to cut corners, scam, lie, cheat and half-ass just about every aspect of this profession. Decorum, professionalism and accountability doesn’t exist even on basic levels.
The CPD is the quintessential Shitshow.

Video gambling in the entire state (sans Chicago) is destroying families while enriching Gov Jelly Belly etc. I've heard the stories of divorces, evictions, etc. due to the gaming mecca of IL (the most slots in the nation outside of Vegas!).
What is taking so long for every liquor store, gas station, parlor, etc. to be so equipped within the City Limits? obviously, a big enough bride has not been offered yet.

Has anybody seen the Form 990 for Bank the Blue? Curious how much they're paying themselves.
Did anybody look at Escamerit's bio. 29 year distinguished career? Let's see. 3 merit promotions. As a detective sgt. he conned another sergeant into handling a police shooting because he had a golf outing to go to. As a commander he was poking a CAPS female officer. How about the North av mission that had quotas for activity. Blatant violation of state law and department rules. He talks about his being a devoted father. Hmm. Does that include CAPS staff picking up your kid from school and then having to babysit him. This fucking guy is so full of himself. Were they so desperate they couldn't find anyone else for treasurer?
