But now it looks like you can post your name, face, star and present yourself in full uniform while on a Chinese spy app. And this is out there for EVERYONE to see.

I'm glad to be gone from the job which I loved and cared for. My last 4 years though I bounced around on midnights (family) working in 12th and I was afraid each time I was partnered with a new officer. Afraid that they wouldn't have my back when things went wrong for which I looked the other way when I would normally not. It's a shame this so called officer is working the streets but she'll be the next merit white shirt. I learned how to hate the job my last years. There's only 4 PO's that I'm still friends with and honestly I'm glad, too many back stabbers.

The laziest mother******s I've met work in government, city, county, state, federal. All colors. Govt jobs have always been a form of welfare. There are a few exceptions as there are few that actually EARN their pay. Next time youre at roll call look around you and you'll see at least a handful that would be IR numbers if it wasn't for this job (unless they already have an IR number).

Not sure how common that was back in the day but now it's not uncommon to come across officers who live in affordable housing units. I know of a handful that live in the west haven homes, some in units across hq at 35/state. Don't know their situation if they were really in need prior to coming to cpd and just milking it now, or if they're living with family. Not making excuses but maybe they're taking care of parents, grandparents, siblings, kids, etc. and their salary doesn't go too far.

IAD is a blessing. Had two CRs against me investigated by IAD overturned by arbitrators. Had it not been that they half assed their investigation I probably would have taken time. That whole place needs a full overhaul top to bottom. Some good people there but other than that everyone hates each other from what Iām told.
