Constitutional Policing is a bureau with many units beneath it including the training division, inspections, compstat, TRR/ISR review, community policing, etc. so it kind of makes sense for certain units to have their own commanders. Perhaps Lts can handle those spots. What you have to look at is the chain within each unit. Why does community policing need two civilian directors and one commander to supervise about 40 bodies?
Need to identify anyone on List who has ever had a Merit Promotion. It would be interesting to know.

Command staff used to have no effect on day to day operations of the rank and file. In today’s messed up world it has a direct effect now due to such a high rate of incompetency by the “command staff”. You now have to be super mindful and keep a watchful eye on these clowns.

Why so flippin top heavy?!? Why did we keep the “XO” rank after McCarthy left anyways? Please try and explain the difference between a commander, captain and an XO. Their all redundant, useless positions that each require 2-4 admin spots. The more you pay attention to this place, the angrier you get. God this fuckin place sucks!!
From tac LT to XO… So what’s the difference there? Some of those names are decent people in general, but have less than zero leadership skills. Why does Collazo keep getting tossed around so much?? She struggled so hard just as a sat sgt!! Promoted way over her head. Oh well, back to Netflix.

Executive Officer (XO) is a position, Captain is a rank.
For example, the "top boss" of a district is a position called a "Commander", and it is filled by a rank of Commander. The second in charge, right underneath the commander is held by a position called the executive officer, which is filled by the rank of a captain.
Wake up people.. Demand that the FOP start working to get rid of Exempt Pensions. There are too many exempts that will be drawing a pension almost double a patrolmen's in addition to their clouted job after retirement. Fire Dept did so it can be done.. If not we will be eating cat food in the future.
Fuck these assholes....
What I find funny; you never see these gold star suckholes around when our days off are canceled for holidays or tiered deployments. I guess they are better than everyone else, do as I say, not as I do! And my office staff doesn’t get their days off canceled either!!!
And for Gods sake, can we dump the ignorant commanders of the detective division, only area 5 should stay, the rest are incompetent merit hacks that were barely if at all a detective in their career….

You can change the name to Yolonda Talley and it's almost the same meteoric rise of meritorious positions. As a matter of fact, after Talley got promoted, Karla Johnson took her spot. Maybe the inside HR people need to be rewarded for keeping their mouths shut about the promotion system. We are screwed.

Area One Lt KA has her hands full she handles V/C,RBT, WELLNESS and the Wellness of the young PO in the 2nd District. Follow her downstairs she checks on his Wellness everyday. They have their own Wellness room. What a joke of a Boss.
Lt KA should have never came to Area One. She should have gone straight to the academy but D/C RM had to take care of his plastic Barbie.Had she gone back to the academy she could've continue to do her Wellness with the recruits. D-Unit is going down the drain. She has brought down Morale at the Area.

They had to get KJ out of CPIC because she didn’t know anything about joint operations. The couldn’t keep her in the Supe’s office because she talks too much. CAPS was a better fit because CAPS already have PO’s, sergeants, lieutenants and a Director. Now she can spend more time on the telephone all day like she did here.
