Disturbing Development
Criminals have habits called an M.O. or modus operandi (that's Latin for "method of procedure").
Essentially, if something works, they use it again and again. It can be a word/phrase to intimidate, it can mean using the roof to enter a building, it can be stealing a certain type of car at a certain time of day.
- Another robbery victim was shot during a holdup on Friday afternoon,
Chicago police said, making him at least the seventh person shot during
robberies since last Saturday.
He was in the 6900 block of South Marshfield when a white car pulled up around 3:24 p.m., according to CPD. Two men got out of the car and demanded his property. He did not immediately comply, so one of the robbers pulled out a gun and started shooting, police said.
Once they start shooting potential victims, and it works to get what they want - they're going to keep doing it until stopped. Seven in a week?
But with the current political climate arresting, stripping, charging and vilifying police for actually stopping crime, the Department isn't about to put JF or DS out there to put a permanent stop to crime.
Victims are going to start dying very shortly.

If I have the correct JF and DS, their names don’t belong in the same sentence. They are total opposites.
Both are CPD legends, but for much different reasons.

Don't be surprised if you start hearing the old question "if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it; did it make a sound?" applied to crime.
I know the answer is, yes, it still made a sound. But people like to debate it anyway, and that's where it looks like its headed for everything.
The "victims" voted for chaos, they protested for it, they demanded it. So let them have it. People won't stop voting for lunatics until they can't stand the consequences anymore.
Pain and suffering are excellent teachers but based on recent elections it's obvious the citizens of Chicago need more lessons.

Cook County will also be making changes as a new program will offer state ID cards for those who are finishing up their jail sentence in Cook County jail with the aim to help those who have recently been released with job searches, opening bank accounts, and buying a home or car.
The program is spearheaded by Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, who said it will help recently released people get a start on reentering society.

While more people may be getting shot, this particular case on 69 Marshfield involved a convicted felon who had an oops moment and shot himself in the leg, ditched the gun, and called 911. He admitted to it to detectives at u of c.
Presume, if you have the sense and wisdom, that all attacks upon you are deadly defined.

Very well said. However, that would mean having a practical grasp of situational awareness. Most coppers hired over the last 20 years have never been in a fist fight, let alone can remove their face from their smartphone long enough to park their car. They’d be oblivious to the usual suspects pulling up, bailing out and rushing them. They have no “sixth sense” because they’ve never been “the real police”. I’ve been on a long time and still don’t take the same route home from work two days in a row and I always drive past my house and thru the alley to see what might be out of place before I park and exit. Paranoid? Call it what you want but lll do whatever it takes to have the advantage.
I got the answer. Give anyone reparations as long as they get a one way ticket back the their original homeland and confiscate their passport upon leaving.
