Yes, The People’s Plan for Community Safety is a purposefully written word salad with a political agenda. It’s a plan to persuade the “people” (we the voters/citizens) with a confusing narrative that the City is going to “get to the root of the problem” (BLM Brandon’s favorite quote) with misleading and insincere verbiage. They are trying to give the “community”the impression they a have a stake in this false plan of addressing crime in the City.
There are a few things going on here. This administration does not have any idea of how to come up with an effective plan to police the City, nor do they want conventional law enforcement. They and others have emasculated its law enforcement officers to the point of no trust which has brought morale to an all time low.
This City’ the County, the State and the current Federal administration have a progressive/socialistic agenda which is at odds with what the voters/citizens want. Why would the City place migrants in police stations instead of hotels or shelters upon their arrival? Was it to irritate the police. Why keep on taking migrants as a Sanctuary City when you have no where to put them or pay for them? Ship them off to Washington DC to the ones that created the problem. And why won’t BLM and the Council allow the voters to vote on whether or not to keep Chicago a Sanctuary City? Don’t the “People”have a stake in voting?
