- I heard 26 Police Dispatchers getting fired. Confirmed. 40 people total out of 911.

Close to 20 civilian employees at 3-11 getting the hammer dropped on them for fraudulent PPP loans and about 40-50 police dispatchers & call takers at OEMC.
And supposedly, the only reason the hammer hasn't dropped is that the sudden manpower shortage would gut the call taking floor, decimate the dispatchers and increase wait times for all sorts of 9-1-1 calls.

I know someone working there. Said all true. Yet no local news on this. You would think this would be big news. They had unlimited overtime during the COVID and were working the whole time. And still some how thought they needed more. They need to repay everything, get fire and be put in jail. I’m totally astonished that this story hasn’t broken in news yet.
Who hired them.
When I first caught wind of this I thought to myself it was a form of poetic justice. If you’re on the job and aren’t aware that majority of your police dispatchers and call takers are far left cop hating law & order despising Bee EL Em blue line scoffing Tuck Frump types. Nothing changes I already seen a handful of the new hires recently so the culture will continue.
From what I was informed is someone on the police operations floor made a little side hustle giving out the loan applications and walking people (or folks) through the process coaching them on how to get the government loan for a cash fee up front. Needless to say this person got a lot of business including up to 20 employees from the 311 center to join in on the scam.
OEMC administrators asked the feds to allow them to be the last entity in the city to have the hammer dropped on them in order to have time to hire more manpower and come up with a new schedule working out logistics. Strong rumors indicate that their 3rd Watch will be eliminated forcing everybody to go on 6a-6p/6p-6a schedules which is proving to be extremely difficult as majority of the police operations side are FMLA medical abusers and sick time scammers. There just isn’t enough bodies to cover the forced mandates the 16hr shifts and cancelled days off, furlos, laying up sick as it is. Now add in the typical excuses you can expect from them.
“I got keeeeeds! I ain’t go no babysitter I can’t work like that Ima get FMLA then I ain’t doing it…”
It’s going to be utter pandemonium soon. Putting out the application link for call takers or dispatchers getting enough qualified applicants hiring them training them even retaining them takes at least 6-9 months being conservative.
Backlog city, baby. Citizens calling for real emergencies will be on hold for at least 5 minutes before getting through to a live operator now. Possibly even longer. Just in time for summer.
It’s been said on this glorious blog that if you play ghetto games you win ghetto prizes. You get what you hire, city hall. You get what you fkng hire. So if any of you have family members looking for a good job with all the whistles and bells or if any of you want to get off the streets and make the same money with unlimited overtime now is the time. The third floor of OEMC could use some new diversity and inclusion believe that.
Big congratulations to the fire operations floor for again being the model template of professionalism, quality work and good moral ethics but that shouldn’t be a surprise they being blue blood fire alarm office aristocrats.

Let me get this straight. I'm assuming the dispatchers, call takers, etc., have a process similar as us where you have to be interviewed and provide answers to the allegations. So if this rumor is true why wouldn't the guilty ones just resign instead of waiting to be fired. Taking either actions looks bad on your personnel record but getting fired is worse. If the rumor plays out, can someone provide the breakdown of how many were hires from Cortes Trotter's church?

So:
Dispatched to do what, these days?
Make an arrest? Could be.
Write paper, sans an arrest? Pretty much.
Exercise those due diligence skills?
Sure.
Plus those verbal judo skills when the bitching flows from those too impatient to not bitch, yet not impatient enough to not call.
And all to the result of what, again?
Oh yeah, if arrest is made, released quicker then wham, bam, thank you, ma'am.
One big positive, should the looming loss of personnel increase dispatch response times to callers: the delay will flow nicely down to the beats. Perhaps even not flow as much at that.
One would hope that dispatch prioritizes fire and emt before community nonsense whinings.

Since it seems everything now a days is based on race. Will the city and the race baiters who cry race at every turn give us a breakdown of the employees who are being fired and will they be charged and prosecuted by the US attorneys office? The City needs to hire "Community Officers". just like the suburbs....no police powers but at least they can write tickets and respond to bullshit jobs, which get coded anyway, most times with anonymous callers. Let trained police officers only respond to true 911 EMERGENCY calls only!!!

From what I understand there is no more vetting process being hired at the OEM. There used to be. When I was hired I had a background check, residency check and a formal interview. They don’t do that anymore for whichever reason nobody is sure why maybe if they did they wouldn’t be in this jam. You get what you hire I can’t stress that enough.
Hey don’t knock these people who got a PPP loan for their newly formed one person security companies that weren’t on file with any organizations or had any type of business license! What a joke that the government did absolutely zero investigations to make sure these companies actually existed which wouldn’t have been difficult at all.

Here’s how the OEMC works:
• A police dispatcher “falls out” during her shift. They immediately contact the fire operations side to quickly send one of their paramedic dispatchers over with an EMS jump bag and begin patient care before an ambulance arrives. That gentleman sarcastically said in jest to the police side employee…
“Alright who’s trying to get out of work and go home early?”
One of the police watch supervisors overheard the tongue in cheek comment and had the fire side operator written up complete with an appointment to the 4th Floor for a conduct unbecoming hearing since his joke was taken as a “subtly rayyysist.” That was in 2019.
• A police dispatcher came to work on Halloween when employees are allowed to wear a costume in good taste and standard as a slaaave. Legitimately dressed as a slaaaave barefooted, garb holding a basket of cotton calling and I mean literally calling watch supervisors “Massa. Yes’a Massa I gonna do’s a good job for you Massa thank you Massa for this good food Massa..”
Even posted pics on social media on her knees in the middle of the atrium on the 3rd complete with the “Massa” captioned dialogue and dialect.
No reprimands. No discipline. No nothing. This was this past Halloween. 2023.

So FCUK them. Wish there was more of them getting popped. I wish a rogue journalist or steadfast city inspector would investigate the real residences of half of the police side operation. Where they live and where they “stay” are two entirely different things.
Brandom is not only a personal failure but a more public failure as the lapdog for CTU. As the DNC August debacle looms on the horizon, scandals at OEMC, mob rule on the city streets, Brandom continues to wear the "Loser Moniker" made of his own doing. We know it, they know it and the only other entity that knows it but doesn't admit it publicly is the news media losers.

The people who received a PPP loan is public knowledge and if you are interested you can find the names. I seriously doubt that the Federal government will go after the majority of fraud cases. There are just too many out there. There is also a problem of money stolen from the rent freeze program in Chicago.
What about the upstanding exempt member who is head of BIA??

To be fair, some names are common and others are shared by family members etc. Let's wait and see and hopefully the powers that be will publicly vindicate some of the people that we suspect engaged in this stuff. Whoever it really is behind these loans tried to obscure one of them by only providing the first name on one of the loans, the other loan has first and last name, but both share the same address.

You may be right on this, but so far, the demographics of those exposed do not back up your claim. What do you base your statement on? Where do you get your information? Are you talking nationwide or just Cook County? I am hearing from a source in City Hall that the rent freeze scam is even bigger then the PPP loan scams and many of the same players involved in both.

You are either new on the job or have been on the streets for a long time. Most of the police working the street now actually think they know whats going on. You're funny. You are there 7 hours a day,tops and talk to 5 people, maybe. You don't know shit. Those dispatchers that you think don't know nothin' about policing? Some of them have been on that zone for 20 years or more. They knew the parents of the offenders you're looking for and where their family lives. I worked with MJ, Jackie, Latrice and many more that saved my ass by knowing I needed more cars before I knew it. I retired after spending the majority of my career in patrol and most of that time on 1st watch. I thanked the dispatchers every day for their help and for your safety, maybe you should get to know your dispatcher.
Kind sir THANK YOU FOR ACKNOWLEDGING DISPATCHERS. Many with years on the job CARE and go above and beyond.

you got that right. who do you think 16 and 14 invite to their hotel sex parties? these guys are keeping scorecards with how many dispatchers they can bang, but what do you expect from fat ugly desperate whores who dont care if they ruin marriages or are just a side piece. heard a certain slob from Z10 was banging guys in 16 for a while.

This entire thread was very disheartening, disappointing and utterly sad. Overall, I see a lot of hatred and stereotyping. I come to work, complete my CHOSEN job well and I leave. Too many of you are emotionally invested in the demise and downfall of others. All I can say is it speaks to your character. Is this the type of person you want to be? You feel good rooting for the failure of others? Yes, what was done is wrong and they will have to answer to their choices.
Also, be mindful when you speak for a group of individuals, understand they are just that…. Individuals. Lumping a particular racial group in your “narrative” is rather immature and irresponsible. I will continue to hold my head high and not let anyone’s irrational beliefs concern me. Carry on, I am too classy for this.

All I seen were undisputed facts. Did the police operations floor celebrate and dance and juke when JVD’s verdict was announced? Yep.
Do they openly support BeeEl Em? Yep.
Do they often make social media posts declaring how RAESIST the police are? Yep.
Do they come to work on Halloween dressed like a slaaayve? Yep.
Do they show contempt and disrespect towards their whyyyyyte colleagues? Yep.
Did anyone on the fire operation’s floor have their hand in the PPP cookie jar? Nope.
