Murder Trial Begins
Jurors reacted visibly to graphic footage of the final moments of Chicago Police Officer Ella French’s life as the trial began Tuesday for the man accused of shooting her and her partner during an August 2021 traffic stop.
Several members of the jury appeared shaken as they watched footage from Officer Joshua Blas’s body-worn camera showing French lying in a gutter near her squad car and her partner, Officer Carlos Yanez, lying on his back nearby.
One juror wiped tears from her eyes. Another closed her eyes briefly, but tightly, as video showed officers move Yanez, his face covered in blood, to the back of a squad car to rush him to the hospital.
French never appeared to move after falling to the ground.
The judge already admonished the murderer's mama for wearing a t-shirt demanding justice for the killer she raised.

Still waiting on the Officer Jiminez hospital video from November of 2018 to be released. Almost 5.5 years. Too many cover ups with this no good department. What is being hidden for so long. FEDS need to step in.

I suspect someone else would have done away with it by now but he is the POS that gets "credit".

Where did I say we have to show the actual shots fired by the offender? (You can stop the video just before the shots are fired to understand the point of tactical positioning and the OODA Loop.) There's something to be learned from every stop we do in this city...good, bad or in this case extremely ugly. This is Chicago. One of the most violent places in America where we have sociopaths armed with short-barreled ARs and Krinks...gangs of 13-year old carjackers...and 6 people are shot every 24 hours. If you are about to clutch your chest over a training video (even where police officers get injured or killed) then this job certainly isn't for you. We work in an ugly police-hating, no-margin-for-error environment...time to start training like it.

Yeah, what instructor wants to say "let's pause the video right here and critic how the officers messed up and caused one of them to lose there lives". Just remember boys and girls, not everyone who works for the CPD is going to reserve judgment of your tactics when you get shot or God forbid die. Royal Flush, more like royal turd.
