Smash and Grab Crew
Norridge and Harwood Heights are two unusual suburbs, in that they are completely within the corporate boundaries of the City of Chicago, but not part of Chicago.
That isn't protecting them from Chicago crime:
- Police are searching for the people responsible for a smash and grab robbery of a jewelry store in Norridge.
Police said officers responded to the Harlem and Irving Mall around 4:30 Sunday. Video from a bystander shows a group of people smashing the glass display cases at the Zevar Jewelers and stealing the items in the cases.
Police said the group fled with an unknown amount of watches and jewelry. The group left in the area in a dark grey sedan.

So tired of this BS the "group" or the "teens"...I guess they assume we already know the description.
So we’re looking for a “group of people”. Of course. If I was a betting man I would probably be able to describe the offenders pretty accurately.
Norridge and Harwood have some pipehitters that used to be cpd. As well as slavic mob homeowners. Keep fafo $hitheads, because you will find out.

Norridge PD is always sitting in the parking lot of the strip malls , remember when you had to drive extremely careful in the burbs not anymore suburbs don’t even do proactive patrols .
Harwood Heights can only read a radar gun on Harlem Ave . Norridge PD is good dept that backs up 016 and has offered help in past when situations sound bad . Also don’t retired coppers work security at the HIP for a second pension ?

016 hardly has any cars in that area. Then as you cross into 025, their ten sector is wide open.

How was it established they're teens? Were they carded at entry? Did the jewelry store security cameras get good profile views of all offenders? Were they of ambiguous ethnic backgrounds?

I'm sure Norridge P.D and Harwood Heights is tired of dealing with the scum of Chicago's west and south side. I remember always driving carefully down Harlem (forest preserve to foster) because they would pull you over in a heartbeat. Now NPD and HHPD don't even care if you do 100 mph down Harlem, and honestly I don't blame them.
I saw a group of people yesterday. Do I notify the detectives or just call 911? I'll probably see a group of people today too. I'm scared!

How about the smash and grab at Harlem and Irving Plaza. Supposedly this particular mall has security that are off duty police. The mall cops really earned their name on this one. The real kicker is that usually they have chicago police canine working there? How is that possible? Why are uniformed chicago cops working dogs in a mall located in the suburbs. Insider knows that one of the canine handlers is also a security guard there and rumor is he gets a little extra padded bonus for bringing the doggies there. Can’t wait till that investigation breaks. Nothing like sandbagging and double dipping, you’re already in a cushy unit. Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered.

Another disgruntled Police officer who didn’t make the cut for K9.. I feel sorry for you. Please use your retainment check and move out of Mommy and Daddy’s basement.. CPD K9 do not work their on duty at the Mall but may train their just like their home base is technically in DesPlaines. And CPD can work off duty jobs outside of Chicago. Have a great day.
