Beware Top Golf
Who knew Naperville was so dangerous?
- Two men who were allegedly found to be in possession of loaded guns at a Topgolf recreational facility in Naperville have been denied pre-trial release, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
The men, who were arrested in separate incidents last week, were each charged with multiple felonies, including armed habitual criminal, and unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
"We’re a very welcoming county, people are welcome to come here, but not to commit crime," said DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin.
We don't usually cover suburban crime without some Chicago connection, but it pops up in our news-feed based on our reading preferences and we've seen a version of this story nearly ten times over the past year or so.
Most times, the offender is a Chicago felon, and we can say with the experience of almost three decades, that the number of times we actually saw a golf bag in the hood is probably three.
Is Naperville a hotbed of under reported gun crime? Is Top Golf a nexus for felonious meet-ups a la the old Outift dons who'd meet in River Forest or Orso's or that Dry Cleaning establishment that cost Rodriguez the superintendent's spot?

Any indoor sport or leisure activity where alcohol is served will eventually draw the attention of these undesirables. They ruined every Chuck E. Cheese type place for kids. They ruined Dave and Buster's. They ruined every bowling alley near Chicago. I guess these indoor golf spots are next on the list. The trick is to not serve certain alcoholic beverages or foods, or play certain music. Some places try to attract these crowds with their drink specials or music choices, and the violence and crime expectedly follow. It's not racist to offer only certain foods and drinks or play certain music.

Wasn’t Naperville voted by some liberal magazines to be the best place to live? Remember though they started excepting section 8 their city council voting on that a few years ago so that is definitely starting to fill in a lot of the places there. Drive through Naperville look at all the empty businesses so many For lease for sale signs and major office buildings. Wait a gosh darn minute where is that governor with the massive amount of empty office buildings? Why don’t we put the illegal criminals inside of these buildings it’s nice close to downtown Naperville they have a place to eat good schools very nice environment. This would be great for those people since they’re so accepting send them there.
They are finally catching up on all of the White Supremists who like to go to Top Golf.
Bob Berlin and formed CSAO ASA is what a prosecutor should be. Tough on crime. Partners with the police. Concerned with public safety. We have none of that.

True many “hate has no home here signs” residents there would like this, they also have a big church in an office building off Naperville road that is welcoming to all the people Brandon here’s your sign just do it!
I thought it was great that they published pictures of the offenders.
But then....it wasn't Cook County, where you would get a description of "2 males".
Not here in Crook County. We like our murders, gunslingers, criminals and other thugs. They vote and vote often. They are a valuable and reliable commodity. The envelopes provided to the pols are a nice perk too. Thanks to old fat ass Tony, Kimmy, Conehead and the City Council and County Board life is good for all concerned except for the victims. As far as Burke is concerned, she told all that she didn't run on the "tough on crime " ticket, just the Democratic ticket. Enough said. No worries the media will cover up for all of them.

Top Golf in Naperville is where dealers and buyers come to meet. The rich and well to do buy their coke, then invite their dealer for a few rounds to build rapport. Word gets out and like predicting the eclipse, Top Golf becomes a shit magnet.
Not only do they want to repeal the 3 strike law but State Rep Kam Buckner wants to have the families of the victims direct the investigation of the murders in the community and the police can answer to families of the victims.

Went to Ruth Chris steakhouse in South Barrington with a friend. Smelled strongly of weed while going in the entrance. Lo and behold saw hood rats there who looked like they were from the West side, wearing typical hoodrat dress up gear. It's everywhere now.
Should go to oakbrook sometime, same thing at all their restaurants, but no surprise, being right off 290/I-88…
Went to Carmines in Rosemont and there's a sign about: hats, hoodies, baggie clothes AND the odor of marijuana....no service. Ditkas in Oak Brook same thing.
