DUI Cover-Up?
A high ranking civilian was (allegedly) tagged with a DUI charge on or around 23 May 24 and nary a peep in the media.
Cops being second guessed for decisions being made in tenth of seconds while someone with the title of "Assistant Director of Reform Management" can spend hours getting blotto and no one holds them responsible?

Government is cover up! The deep state; obstruction of justice, perjury, payoffs and bribes, in some cases suspicious suicides or outright murder. That’s where we are at! The Democrat Party controls the media and some of social media like Facebook.

I’ve been gone for a while so I looked at the Dept. Organizational chart. So many new pretend positions created. Anybody can see the Dept. is top heavy and bottom light. They are probably getting this from the feds where you have a director, deputy director, assistant director, assistant deputy director, assistant to the director. Creating massive think tanks!! And the list goes on!! Just keep making titles up. Gives them a large group of people they get to go lunch with and shoot the breeze. Not good for the lower levels where the job gets done.
Now I saw this on the CPD facebook page. There are four people wearing orange shirts and the caption under the photos says: “#Wear Orange CHI to end gun violence.”
If this is the case and this will end the gun violence,the Mayor and Council need to pass an ordinance forthwith requiring all persons upon the public ways wear orange to end the gun violence and save lives. This is brilliant and who knew it would be so simple!

So many big title jobs, all inept as far as I am concerned. The city has once again become very top-heavy. Made up positions, and promises to those who supported this mayor - like the new Commissioner coming into Procurement. She looks good on paper but lacks experience in contracts. The endless deputies in all big departments are a joke.
I wore orange, and just like that gun violence increased. SMH, when will the inept know it's the criminal element that is not prosecuted that keeps committing these crimes including the teens that are not held accountable.
Attended CPS in the 60-70’s , geez , we never had stop the violence parades.
This is a blm thing, welfare mama,getting extra spending 💰for having babies.
Babies get noyi, that’s why CPS must provide breakfast and lunch for the children.

Civilians don't draw from the sworn member pension. Get your facts straight.
The CPD pension may be going broke, but it ain't cause of civilians drawing from it. It'll go broke from underfunding based on the proper actuarial amount and from exorbitant fees to "advisors" which is nothing more than stealing.
There is no reason to have any money actively managed. Index equities and bonds and cut down on millions lost every year to the "advisors."

One of the reason the fund is hurting just a little is disability queens that work three years and than collect till their 63. And then start posting what a active life style when they are on regular pension. And now they are getting close to 80 years old they worry about the pension fund because of how much money the scam'd.

One such person, shortly after their DPR retirement, was jumping at the chance to work private security gigs being offered on FB. If you couldn't even work a light duty spot, how are you going to work a security gig?
