Close Another Beach!
Might as well shut down the beaches until autumn or winter:
- Four people were stabbed during two altercations at Montrose Beach on
Sunday evening, Chicago police said. Witnesses said shots were fired
during one of the incidents, but no injuries were reported from gunfire.
So far, no arrests have been announced.
The first altercation occurred when two men argued with a third man in the 4400 block of North Simonds around 7:47 p.m. Police said the third man produced a sharp object and struck both of the other men before leaving the scene.
A 33-year-old man sustained multiple cuts to his arm, and a 32-year-old man suffered cuts to his wrist, according to a CPD spokesperson. Both men took themselves to Swedish Hospital.
Witnesses reported that shots were fired during the incident, and an officer at the scene said they found shell casings on the same block where the men were stabbed.
Then, around 10:10 p.m., two people were stabbed in the 4500 block of North Simonds, according to police.
Can't just be picking on the 31st Street beach-goers - that would be racist or something.
It would, quite frankly, be safer for everybody.

So much for fun and relaxing at the lake. I guess it’s no longer an asset to Chicago. When is Mayor Johnson going to get to the root cause of the violence. Sounds good but it’s not like getting to the center of tootsie pop!
On the topic of conspiracies:
It's that fun group CPS again.
Former CPD detective Nicholas Schuler was forced to resign as CPS OIG some years ago after a mistake ridden, two sentence anonymous complaint was filed against him with CPS Law. The complaint alleges Nick was bullying and screaming at his investigators to actually work. One employee told Nick right before, "You still don't know how things work here, do you?"
Nick had just begun an investigation into CPS Law head honcho Joseph "Double Pour" Moriarty when the complaint came to light and Nick was forced to resign.
One of Nick's last BIG investigations was a city wide test cheating and grade manipulation scandal involving several South and west principals. (Two of Nick's investigators in the investigation were former Sun-Times reporters Art Golab and Rosalind Rossi)
CPS never followed through on Nick's recommendations to prohibit cheating and grade manipulation, instead introduced equity grading (students can get no lower than a 40% on tests and work). This means out of 10 questions, a student only needs to get 2 of them correct and finish with a 60%, good enough for D in the class and a passing grade.
Even with equity grading, CPS students were still failing at an all-time high due chronic absenteeism, 10+ absences and 10+ tardies. So, CPS then prohibited teachers from factoring in absences and tardies into grades. This means students with 50+ absences were starting to get B's and C's.
CPS replaced Nick with Svelyn William Fletcher. Fletcher was Asst. CPS OIG under Nick's predecessor James Sulluvan, a CPS insider and fixit guy. And Fletcher was the Park District"s IG before resigning to take Nick's spot while the lifeguard sexual assault scandal investigatiins were taking place, including lifeguards and mates at Montrose Beach.
Fletcher had just started questioning Park District big shots and Daley Crime Family loyalists Michael Kelly and Avis Lavelle on the sex scandal. All three abruptly resigned their Park District posts during the investigation with Fletcher ending up as CPS OIG.
As CPS OIG, Fletcher has been putting together softball investigations to appease the US Dept of Education and make it look like the CPS OIG was having the proper oversight of CPS. One series of investigations centered around 12 high salaried CPS employees involved in PPP loan fraud, including the former Chief of Staff to the CPS CEO Crystal Cooper. Another investigation was the 77,505 missing laptops and tech devices.
FYI: Cooper was the second Chief of Staff to the CPS CEO to get fired and DNH'd by CPS in recent years. The other was Pedro Soto, Jr. and he was caught lying to the FBI about conversations he had with a vendor angling for the CPS cleaning contract.
BTW: As mentioned weeks ago, hundreds of other CPS employees will be outed after the DNC and have their hands slapped in other PPP loan fraud cases. Way too many cases for CPS to fire hundreds of employees with many highly connected to council members and state and county politicians, this includes employees connected to Ald. Villegas (36th) and Cruz (30th).
(Cruz was just mentioned in the Sun-Times as one of the aldercrestures not paying their water bills)
Here's the rub. Some whispers got to CPS CEO regarding PPP loan fraud and missing laptops and Fletcher was told to put something together quickly to help prevent the US Dept of Education from taking over control of CPS.
Though, Fletcher's office couldn't prevent the US Dept of Education's investigation into wide spread money mismanagement by CPS central office employees, network chiefs, and their principals. Part of this investigation was the $1.1B our dumbass Mayor Brandon Johnson was claiming the state owed CPS (and it didn't).

The first, non-delegable duty of leaders in any society is to protect its members with force from the tyranny of evil men.
They can’t now turn to the police for help after having spent the last several years selling them out and discrediting them in the eyes of those who live in these affected neighborhoods and who need them the most.

Last time I took the family to the beach there were a bunch of illegals selling the parking spots. And if you didnt pay I'd bet your tires would be slashed. I told them to fuck off and just drove home. This city is a 3rd world shit hole.

Oh, Young Buck, how wrong you are. Granted ghetto now and has been for a long time but wasn't always like that. I'm 65 now but when I was growing up Montrose was the place to be. Cool parties and hot chicks! Never any problems, PoPo was there with us partying and all was good. Was in 19 back in late 80's and it was still good, the Beast had not found his way there yet. It really all ended when the projects shut down and they destroyed the neighborhoods by moving them amongst the Amish. Uptown was sketchy back then, but the hillbillies didn't come to the beach.
Life was so much easier when we only had to worry about Sgt. Carrie calling 10-1’s at Montrose Beach while on the medical because she couldn’t save a parking spot!
Steakhouse? How about a pen in the old Stockyards for that fat slob.

Montrose Beach is more like a swamp..ever see the lowlifes that go there? Compared to North Ave and Oak street Beach, Montrose is filthy. City should do what Evanston Beach does..Charge Admission!!
