This Guy Again?
Honest to God, he's almost as bad a Jesse Jackson and a TV camera:
Vice President Kamala Harris once called infamous hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett a victim of an attempted "modern day lynching."
Now the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, Harris to this day has not deleted her 2019 social media post that repeats the false claim, even after the "Empire" actor's criminal conviction in Illinois for the faked attack.
[...]Weeks later, after it became clear police were investigating Smollett for filing a false report, Harris said she was "sad, frustrated and disappointed" by news the actor made "false claims to police."
But her initial comments were a "rush to judgment" that showed a "hasty decision before all the facts are known," said Eugene Roy, a retired Chicago Police Department chief of detectives with more than 30 years experience on the force.
Now he's what? The elder statesman, voice-of-reason of the CPD? He was a politically connected hack playing the same game as every other clouted individual - self-promotion....and the promotion of other unqualified "meri-clout-orious" persons.
We seem to recall some other things that Gene was famous for back in the day, too. Was it in Wisconsin or Michigan?

GREAT STORY:
The former Chief of Detectives goes up to his summer place in Michigan one day.
He winds up bringing his "female friend" (unknown if it's a copper .. but, what do you think?)
He introduces the young lady as his "daughter" to his neighbor.
A few weeks go by and now the wife goes up. The neighbor lady says, "Oh, I saw your husband a few weeks ago with your 'daughter'. So much for that marriage.
Not sure how much the ex-wife benefited from him being Chief of Dicks.
When their enemas start splurting upon them, give credit where credit is due.
He could have at least picked a better looking secretary.

Gene Roy recently hospitalized after seriously injuring his arm from patting himselff on the back. Nobody liked him as a patrolman nobody liked him as a sergeant, nobody liked him ever.
To the "great story"poster. The story is partially true. The fictional daughter was one of his CPD desk dollies. Also Roy's clout came from his wife who was a judge.
Nobody liked him as a captain either. In general nobody liked pompous Gene.
Was he the Chief of Dicks, or just the Chief Dickhead?
Gene ROY is one of those bosses that no one liked working for. He was a jerk across the board. There is likely one or two sycophant's that will say what a great guy he is...There always are.
They likely worked in his office, and got to leave early on 2nd watch and did little or no police work.
True story...
He was my unit chain of command brass, and I met him only when I was having some medical issues, and he called me in to deny my PAR requests through channels for temporary accommodation. I wasn't asking for the world, or even thinking about disability...given the history of CPD doling out special accommodations, my request wasnt that unreasonable. I just didn't have a China man to call. The FOP was no help either. Quite simply, I'm sure he was only concerned about the percentage of his people using medical time. In those days, that was an issue in a lot of units. I'm willing to bet that Supt. what's his name handed down an edict to reduce that percentage of medical usage among CPD units.
He denied me any accommodation at all, and I kept using the medical when I needed it until one day someone (supervisor) came to me and "asked me what I needed"...something had to give.
That was a miserable chapter in my life and I saw who my friends were on this job. I am in good health today. I got through it with Zero help from Gene Roy and his minions and the FOP. What a pompous ass...a one finger salute goes out to him.
I knew others that worked under that man, and he gets painted in the same dark light unanimously. You have to be a special kind of ass wipe to receive that honor...
I see it is no different on this blog...

The wife was his clout, her maidan name was Biebel as in the Chief Judge Biebel at the time. He retired shortley after the neighbor told the wife about her unknown daughter.

Maher practiced her own rear sucking on the rather ample bum of one Wayne B Milla. At least big Wayne saw her for the sycophant she is.
I think Mr. Roy was an exemplary leader. Though, I didn’t think much of his choice of bedding in Michigan.

Fact Check: Yes, indeed the mistress’s name is Sgt. AM, she is currently assigned to the 12th District. She attempted to climb the ladder like Kamala Harris and failed miserably. When my father (CPD) in law was taken to the emergency room and died, the Commander of 9, Gene "the wet dream" called my mother in law and called her the widow of so and so on the phone. She almost had a heart attack too
A few years later, I was looking at a house for sale in Sauganash and it was Eugene's. He had half a dozen pics on the wall in EVERY room of himself. He was a legend in his own mind.

I believe that Sergeant AM from the 12th District would have plenty of good things to say about Roy. Unfortunately , she would be speaking about his performance in places other than at work. Sergeant AM is a Canaryville girl who doesn’t good taste, she was also very desperate for love. Poor Amy, looking for love in all the wrong places.
