Chaplains' Fundraiser
Pretty much the only Police charity we support any more:
- Come support Police Chaplains Ministry and our work with Gold Star Families!
Notre Dame vs. NIU on Saturday 07 SEP. Kickoff at 2:30 pm.
$50 donation to Police Chaplains Ministry covers endless Barraco's pizza and open bar for the entire game. Raffles, split-the-pots, scratchcards and other ways to part with your money.
McNally's - 11136 S. Western Avenue
Thank you to the Barraco Family and Mike Cummings at McNally's.
Please continue to keep Nick Barraco's speedy recovery in your prayers!
God bless!!!

We don't live in Chicago any more, but when we did, we spent a lot of time and little money at Vito & Nick's at 84th and Pulaski. The fundraiser mentioned Nick Barraco and we were wondering if this person is the son of Nick Barraco, the previous owner of Vito and Nick's?
Would like to show up. McNally’s is always a good place and the chaplains are always very worth donating to and I’m actually off that day. I wonder if it’ll get canceled for one reason or another. I mean why not? Every other weekend up to then is canceled so why not cancel that one when a very worthy event is being held….
I'd love to go, but I get nosebleeds if I travel south of Division... Let us know when there's a fundraiser up Nort.

Sure, let us know the date, time and location that is convenient for you. We’ll hold the next fundraiser solely to accommodate you.

I'll pick you up and 3 PAID guests to CF, and take you all back up North in my Mercedes that was purchased on my broken back volunteering all of my off- time to VRI.
Wow Vito and nicks ! We always called it nick and vitos. Back in the 60s we used to go there after high school dances for pizza and a couple beers. Tourqoise booths and weird futuristic hanging swag lights. . Last time I was there in the 80s they had all the same furniture. They built a new one in plainfield in 2006 but the recession killed them and the new foxes pub built the same year. Never opened. Been to baraccos on 111th many times never knew it was the same family. God bless great people.
it is not
and by the way - Sgt M. C. is the absolute biggest fan of the Police, EVER. something that will not change. He is an absolute prince and a legit man and friend to all - true meaning of a community icon for years. from someone who knows (that m o's) got started there.
if you want a Nick &Vito's and not travel to 84th and Pulaski,go to Barraccos and order the Nicky special. it's the best
