and won a silver medal for the United States.
Kennedy Blades is an Olympic athlete who competed in women's 76kg freestyle wrestling.
We can't recall any other close ties to Olympians in any event. Certainly a source of pride for the family.

A St Patrick alum wrestled in the Paris Olympics. I’d imagine he’s probably related to a member of the Chicago Police or Fire.

Amazing job! Her mother must be so proud. Such a huge accomplishment for her daughter. But must have taken a lot of time, finances, support and work from her mother as well to help get her there. She deserves a congrats, too! Great job representing our country.

Great job by the young lady. I tried watching the Olympics but gave up when I couldn't figure if I was watching real women compete or if it was a tranny competing. While the female boxers/men may have a genetic abnormality as an excuse, an actual male competed in a running competition against females. The only people that can straighten out this mess are the women. They should refuse to participate. All forfeit the competition so the trannys win by default. The " victory " will always have an asterisk. That'll fix em. Sometimes a girls gotta do it for herself....
