Two Man Crime Wave
These thieves are single-handedly contributing to the massive spike in downgraded robberies:
- A Florida man had 12 stolen phones hidden in his clothing when covert Chicago police officers rescued him from an angry mob at Lollapalooza on Thursday, officials said.
Why rescue him from the crowd? Instant justice is the best kind.
And he's not the only one. Here's a repeat customer from Pride weekend:
- A Florida man on pretrial release for allegedly stealing phones at Pride Fest
earlier this summer is facing even more charges after he was caught
with 23 stolen phones at Lollapalooza, according to court records.
You may remember Juan Pablo Giraldo-Ruiz from our recent story about widespread phone thefts at Pride Fest, the street festival held in Boystown every June.
Gee, both from Florida, up here committing crimes. Why is that?
- Police have arrested phone theft crews at Lollapalooza for several years in a row. Prosecutors eventually dropped most of the cases.
- Court records show that prosecutors eventually dropped most Lolla and Pride phone theft cases.
Because there are ZERO consequences up here in Crimesha-land!

Back in the 70"s, there used to be waves of Columbian's that would come to the country and work in the Loop and River North as pickpockets. We tracked then down to headquarter in Miami and notified the Feds....They caught and deported all lot then, but now its a whole different story.
And this is why the DNC will be a disaster here. They already know they will be released in a few hours and eventually all the charges will be dropped.

I know who he is but was asked not to reveal it. Giambalvo Lonigan will be fighting for second place.
