109 Loses and Counting
Can't they just forfeit the rest of the season and spare everyone the time?
Television stations could play reruns of the Mongolian buzkashi championships.
Reinsdorf could rent out the stadium to high school football teams....which would likely outdraw the Sox.
Suggestions?

Maybe if we build them a new stadium???????????Bullshit.
Insiders say that Reinsdorf is tanking the team to lower the value.
That way the taxes will be lower when his son inherits it.
RIP Brother.
Don't forget, that piece of SHIT future CAPTAIN Paul Tasch was driving the dilapidated special employment squad way too fast. May he and his father (also a JAG OFF Captain) burn in hell.

The suckage will be used to prove that "if we only had a nice new shiny stadium, the crowds would come back!"...
Here's an idea...
Disco Demolition night....We blow up all the disco records....Well ????
.
This is where something like ESPN, The Ocho from the movie Dodgeball would be amazing. Tired of watching your shitty baseball team lose? Tonight on The Ocho, Championship Ping Pong from Bangkok!!! Don't miss it!!!!!
Chicago LOVES losers. 109 losses? It took the Cubs 109 YEARS to win the World Series, but I suppose we should have seen that coming; the "C" on their caps is the Roman Numeral for 100. IIRC, Only 100 years to go after this season!
Let CTU use it for their shooting range. More practice will prevent accidental shootings to oneself and their friends
Cops vs Conehead & Crimesha, Prickwinkle, Toupee Tommy Etc
Its a PPV That I would buy to watch here in CT !!
Sox fans are desperately hoping Reinsdorf sells the team, or at least his kids do after his death. However, Reinsdorf is only the majority stakeholder. There are about 6 other owners, and no one really knows how the agreement with them is written. Will one of them just take over ownership? Also, what’s saying that Reinsdorf’s kids won’t just sell Jerry’s stake to the remaining owners? There is a chance the Sox can be in perpetual baseball purgatory for the next 100 years
The Sox record in the history of their franchise is now under .500 and will be under .500 for the rest of their existence. And what team sent them under .500? The Cubs, after their second sweep this season
The new stadium talk in Chicago seems to be dead now and the Southside will not be a desired destination for any veteran free agents anytime soon. So, more of the crap like this season for the next 3-4 years at least, especially with the young players running into each other like on IL-oy's popup yesterday in Baltimore and playing like the Bad News Bears.
Sox need to sell a lot of those $17 campfire milk shakes. Who can afford that along with $8 hot dogs and $13 Lite beers?
Something drastic needs to happen. Reinsdorf should do what the Chicago Blitz did after their first year here in the USFL in 1984. Basically, trade all the players, coaches, and front office staff to another city for their team and owners (Arizona Wranglers). Maybe, the Sox could trade with Tampa Bay and then Tampa Bay moves their franchise and Sox franchise to Charlotte. Charlotte's minor league team alreaďy outdraws both the Sox and Rays now.
Chicago gets an instant contending team along with new ownership and Charlotte basically gets an expansion team complete with the Injury-prone and the poor fundamental Cuban players.(Moncada, Colas, Robert)
Even after this season, the Sox will be ineligible for the 1st overall draft pick and will be picking 10th instead, all thanks to Jerry
How's their new stadium coming along?
Disgraceful to say the least
Don't go or watch any professional sports teams.
The Chicago Colosseum!!
Have gang banger “gladiator” duels to settle scores once and for all.
Conehead can even flip the thumbs up or thumbs down.
A record setting season
How much did we, the taxpayers, contribute to the construction of that stadium? I can't help but wonder if the team members are being compensated for their lackluster performance. It's truly absurd, yet this is Chicago, a city well-known for its pervasive corruption at all levels.
It's time to sell the team to someone who actually wants to win games and has the means and capital to do so. Reinsdorf is a fan of sports who always wanted to own a team. He got lucky a few times. But real owners are businessmen first, fans second. And can we all just agree that no matter how good the Sox ever get, they still will be playing at the worst stadium location for a professional sports team in the history of the world? C'mon. No one wants to go there even when they win!
It’s fitting for the worst city to have the worst baseball team.
How about if the Sox create a new game show “How many handguns can a fat CPS teacher conceal in a fat roll? “ That fat pig from the TLC show can host
They could get a hold of Steve Dahl and do another disco demolition night.
After the BS with the Dodgers/their mockery of nuns last year, I knew I was done with baseball. All of it. Haven't listened/followed since. As my dad said: "I'm not watching a guy hit a ball with a stick." He might have been onto something. Really, as far as the Sox, how low can you go?
Ironic the suggestion that Reinsdorf could rent out the stadium when its owned by the state and Rent Free Reinsdorf's billing from the state is predicated on attendance, which, as you accurately point out, would be increased were high schools allowed to play their games there.
Jerry's kids are not the problem. They are abbot to break a record. That pistol packing bitch shot from miles away is. This moron will settle out of court to protect what? Just go away.
Have another Disco Demolition Night. Have a midget pinch hit. Put a shower in the left field bleachers. Get a new Andy the Clown. Let the crowd have a say with Grandstand Manager Day.
I had a buzkashi once. It was delightful. Now, kees me you fool!!!!
I don't think it's because the players aren't trying. They just don't have the talent. But some of the loses have been heartbreaking. Last week Sox down by a run in the bottom of the ninth, man on. Sox player hits one over the fence for what could have been a walk off homer. Defender makes a great leaping catch to end game. Tough loss. Sox need hitting and late inning pitching.
I agree 100% - life is too short to watch any of this crap
Location is fine. Problem is the owner and team.
I concur - the mockery of religion by baseball and the cancellation of the all-star game from Atlanta because MLB didn’t like the new election law requiring an ID. Baseball is no longer entertainment but a woke Business. Spending ending quality time with my children is much more beneficial for me and them. Bye bye MLB
That is the end game for sure.
I heard his kids don't want it.
I thought the White Sox were headed to Nashville.
Ask Nashville.
My only suggestion is to stop using any sort of tax dollars / public funds to pay for sports stadiums. Reinsdorf & his fellow knuckleheads have money. They can finance the stadium on their own. What? That might lead to salary cuts for professional athletes?? Perish the thought!!
Midnight basketball would have more wins.
07/12/79 was a fun night
Yes you are correct, tasch junior was a special kind of asshole.
You were reading my mind. How about a bring a goat and cheezborger cheezborger cheezborger night.
but,,,, white sox park has the honor of having 2 fans shot while sitting in the park and no one knows how it happened (wink wink)
it worked out so well the last time what could possibly go wrong?
Demolition derby, monster trucks,Rodeo real inexpensive family fun stuff, without the whining, crying by over paid opinionated ass hole want to be professional athletes, and the greed team owner !
St. Rita vs Mt. Carmel football would draw a much bigger crowd!!!
July 12, 1979 was a glorious night.
I got a neck tattoo that says 109. But I forgot the season isn't over yet.
2024 slogan..."Losing Ugly..."
