Austin Berg is doing some awesome reporting on alternative media platforms. He recently posted this forgotten interview from a few years back:
- Three key members of Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson’s administration discuss defunding and abolishing the Chicago Police Department.
- Head of Intergovernmental Affairs Kennedy Bartley ($192,000 salary): “As an abolitionist, when I say defund the police it is through an abolitionist lens.”
- Senior Advisor on Community Safety Alyx Goodwin ($103,488 salary): “The thing I would add here is that the demand to defund is like also an anti-capitalist demand.”
- Deputy Budget Director of Community Safety Adam Slade ($135,084 salary): “I agree 100% with both of those views.”

Three of Conehead's top advisors, stealing almost half-a-million in salary, all advocating for the abolition of the CPD.
But none of this came out during the election - "progressives" and their media lapdogs are great at hiding their true intentions.

Politicians want the police force gone? Give them what they want. The only legal job action police can take against a city that hates them is mass resignation/lateral/retirement. Let these overpaid communist scum protect the community and the shit liberal whites.

Perhaps a little shock and awe is necessary. I hear there is a three day virus going around each District resulting in officers being unable to work. Hope it doesn't spread to Brandons detail. It would be a shame to leave City Hall and Brandon's home without protection, but the citizens come first and those clouted officer who are immune will just have to hit the streets to find those unreported gun shot victims since CFD can't find them all.

Off topic: but defunding the police means eliminating ranks? Rumor is they are phasing out and eliminating the captain position. Unsure what other positions on the chopping block.
Things that they're only talking about in those interviews are happening. No more shotspotter and theyre fighting to not have another physical police structure near midway. They're the existential threat and they need to be voted out.
Can we post the 10 safest US cities along with their demographics. Let us look for patterns.

The defunding started under Lightfoot -- what else would you call a reduced head count of thousands? Brandon will take it to a new level but make no mistake who started it.
Those same 10 cities always fall a little short on the "best 10 cities to live in" lists- they're docked a few points for not having enough diversity.
Laterals and retirement are the way to go if requirements are met. In the meantime, do just the basics.
Fewer commanders would be a start. Fewer deputy chiefs too. But let’s not kid ourselves. The department can save money on those positions but the lion share of money is to police officers in the field. Can eliminate that one captain spot at the district but what are you even saving? 30k-70k based on overtime? That couldn’t even buy one more copper in each district.
It's something else that any of the news network haven't mentioned anything about this.
