Sunday, we brought up the PPP fraud allegedly perpetrated by the head of IAD swindling taxpayers for a little over $20K in COVID money. She used an address belonging to (maybe) a relative in the 011th District.
Now, one of our readers emails us a web search that shows THIRTY-FIVE separate PPP loans from a single address....about two blocks over from Yollie's fake address:
That's also an 011th District address occupied by a Salvation Army shelter building. We had no idea the Salvation Army was so forward thinking as to allow people seeking emergency shelter to run businesses out of their buildings.
We were also told that the general area of the 011th District had more PPP loans per capita than any other location in the United States. We're talking millions upon million of dollars worth, which makes us wonder why - in such a business friendly environment - the 011th District is such a hotbed of shootings, murders, robberies and open-air drug markets.

Out Pensions ARE SCREWED according to "Wirepoints on Chicago's Morning Answer".
They state is the Pension is unsustainable even with the the State law in effect for our pension to mandatorily be funded.
People on the job now will have a great chance of getting shafted.
Also, there is a great possibly of "down state" politicians changing the State Constitution in 2030. Changing the constitution means they COULD diminish the pensions. Also, place a scheme for municipalities to claim bankruptcy could be installed.
If you are young, transfer the hell out of CPD and the CFD as soon as possible to avoid getting screwed by these bastard Democrats.

Seems like someone should forward this information to Pam Bondi, the incoming Attorney General under Trump. That should clean up a lot of crime in Chicago, assuming those folks can be found.
Go back. Listen to the tapes in Congress. PPP 2. Minorities focus. It was a scam, by Congress, and it did what it was supposed to. The banks in that area made millions on it.
I have 3 unit rental property on the west side. All three tenants got one year of free rent from the US government. The next year all three applied for the Covid rental relief from the city and all three received another year of free rent. They all receive some BS babysitting money from the state. Last year my basement tenant tried applying for FEMA disaster relief from flooding that never affected her apartment. The point is all the ghetto dwellers know how to game the system.
"All that money" is spot on. I would like to see an audit of all funds given directly or funneled into low-income areas via block grants & other govt. largess. Go all the way back to the late 60's, LBJ. & Co. and the "Great Society".
e.g. The. Rev. Fry in Woodlawn who coddled the Blackstone Rangers as he received grants for hundreds of thousands of $$$, making Jim Finney & Assoc. rich as Woodlawn burned down (may as well investigate U of C in that mix)

Pursuing PPP abuse could be an affective avenue to open the floodgates holding all the scams in the communerty. Next, do Medicaid/Medicare fraud, disability & Soc. Sec. fraud, food stamp scamming, Section 8, et. al.

Most of these guys were claiming to be unemployed barbers. It was a common hustle at shelters city wide.
This is nothing compared to the real estate scams including forced buyouts and protection rackets ran by Talley, Cato, and West. This is where the real thieving took place.
It is all open public record and has been available for years now.
Another reason to ask why aren't they being prosecuted, fired, disciplined, being audited by IRS?

People have no idea of the scale of PPP fraud. This was a huge hustle all over town (I saw it first hand). Those of us who live & work on the low end see all the time how fast people figure out how to game the system.

Been hearing this for 40 years, still the checks come on time every month. Our state laws protecting our pensions are stronger than the language the protect social security.

Yeah, it was interesting looking at the records and seeing how certain areas seeemed to be jam-packed with successful entrepreneurs. Lots of "transportation" companies and daycares.
But, by gawd, wait by your mailbox for those nasty letters from IRS when your itemized tax return doesn't fit their preconceived formula for your charitable giving (it was actually determined that we were entitled to claim more). Dump income tax. Dump IRS. Go to sales tax so the criminals can contribute on the purchased items that they haven't stolen.
