History Passing By
One-hundred-two years is a long time:
- Virginia Halas McCaskey, the matriarch of the Bears franchise and the NFL’s most direct link to its founding, died Thursday morning at the age of 102.
Maybe the heirs will finally sell the team and the new owners will move them out of Chicago and win something again. Not that we care - we haven't seen a Bears game in probably a decade or more. We're currently roaming the hockey wilderness anyway.
And it would take far more than Trump going to the Superbowl to get us to care about the NFL anymore....even the commercials have been sucking for the past ten years.

Not a shocker, from the cop haters on that station is beyond appalling. Accounts from former players and coaches, say that she treated everyone as family, went to church, and had deep love for her fan base. There is a special place in hell for Dan Bernstein. The ringleader of that cult.

When all the professional sports teams went woke and started advocating for BLM and pushed the radical left agenda myself and my family walked away from all sports. We have not attended any games.. baseball, football, hockey or basketball or watched them on TV or purchased apparel in 5 years. Remember the NFL supported Kaepernick wearing socks with pigs and being vocal about ending law enforcement. Your a moron if your the police and you give any attention to theses organizations. How soon we forget!

Really hard to get excited about the upcoming Super Bowl when it is so apparent that the game is pretty much already decided. The NFL has had the refs tilting games to the Chiefs for the entire season. There will be a call or non-call down the stretch that will hand the title to KC.
Maybe this years Super Bowl commercials will be more interesting, Musk is spending $40 million for five commercials that will speak of USAID’s wasting our tax dollars on the promotion of leftists agenda.worldwide.

102 is a long life and she is one of the last direct lines to the founders of what was once a great sport. Now that she’s gone hopefully the board will take control away from her idiot children who know nothing about football. As long as the McCaskey family is is making decisions, the longer the Bears will continue to lose.
On a lighter note they are removing the slogan “end racism” from the end zones and replacing it with “choose love” in light of recents events including the midair collision between the military helicopter and plane. Tragic as it was how does the phrase “choose love” relate to that?

Bernstein is a grade A liberal stroke. I quit listening to him and Boers over a decade ago when Bernstein was actually fucking crying on the air over a story he read that CPD had beat a gay man senseless. No fact, no figures, no background, just ranting about how evil CPD was and how he was going to standup to the violence. I don't miss the score at all. Only downside not listening was I just found out Jimmy Piersall died.
