And ::SURPRISE!!:: it shows that the media ran with unsubstantiated claims that Officers arrived on scene, wild-eyed, guns drawn, looking for blood, screaming, "Where's that guy we're going to kill?!?!"
Officials released Chicago police body camera video of CPD officers fatally shooting a man who confronted them with a knife during a domestic altercation call. Timothy Glaze, 58, was killed around 2:10 a.m. on January 5 at a senior apartment building in the 3000 block of West 21st Place.

I responded to a disturbance call in the 019 Dist in a senior living building. This guy comes out with a railroad spike in his hand behind his leg. We were able to disarm him but one of the workers didn’t see it at first and tried to stop me. I jumped all in her ass! He was about to get ventilated. All good left with a 5 Frank. Do what you have to do to go home safe!
Next time the residents should call Charles Odum cause he has all the correct answers to address violent assholes.

I was a guest speaker at a Union to End Slums meeting. I told them to get a job and show up to that job on time. I wasn't asked to speak again.
Here the thing about being old. Life without does seem so bad now. Kids and old men with guns are the scariest people to deal with. One does appreciate the consequences and the other doesn’t care.

Union to End Slums workers are most certainly funded by city, state and federal taxpayer grants in an effort to register residents, both living and the deceased still on the voter rolls, to do the "dirty" work getting out the vote for the local democrat committeemen. Lots of votes at the 3030 W. 21st Street publically funded high rise Chicago Housing Authority building. Voting assistance provided by government grant paid community activists include the submission of absentee ballots for those democrats who are blessed with little or no cost housing and are too lazy to actually show at the polls which coincidentally is located in the lobby after a short elevator ride.
Lots of fentanyl deaths at this building. And lots of heroin and alcohol poisoning deaths too. These deaths are of little value as the potential for a payout does not exist. This is a "slum" as characterized by resident and self described activist financier of Union to End Slums describing his lifetime little or no cost domicile housing benefit.
Hey fool activist Charles Odum get you a 9 to 5 work job living in high cotton minus income taxes. Then move out paying your own rent in a non CHA regulated housing getting out of that democrat-ruined plantation concrete crime ridden jungle. When everything is free during your lifetime activist Odum it is difficult to go down the independent self reliant road. Officers you did the right thing; preservation of your lives given a visible threat by an armed sociopath filled with rage who hates everything you and your uniform stand for.

I believe they got Charles' last name wrong. It's O'Dum, and by the looks of the video, had they come in with their guns drawn, it wouldn't have been a bad decision. Too bad his girlfriend can't be charged. She has culpability for his death. Rather than "suicide by cop," were the police unwitting participants in a "murder by cop"?
