Another One
Obviously, the "community" still doesn't care:
A 65-year-old man found yelling and waving his hand for help on a West Side street overnight was suffering from a gunshot wound, police discovered. Exactly when the man was shot as he walked is unclear because nobody called 911 to report gunfire, and Mayor Brandon Johnson disconnected the city’s ShotSpotter network, which used to monitor the area, in September.
The victim told police he was walking when he heard gunfire and realized he had been shot in the right ankle around 3:06 a.m., Chicago police said. He fell to the ground in the 100 block of South Hamlin and started screaming to get someone to help him. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
And Conehead has already said the decrease in crime isn't because of police or technology, so CWB doesn't feel bad about pointing this out....and neither do we.

I mean SCC, you’re almost always sharper than I am, but seriously “GSW to the ankle” and not sure where it took place? 65 years may be old in hood years, but just because this rippin & runnin days are over, doesn’t mean he’s still not an ex con carrying a gun he shouldn’t have. Who cares where it happened? He shot himself.
The guy is lucky the officers driving around didn’t think it was a prank and keep driving.
Heard noise... felt pain... mmmm hmmm, that's right Office....
I like the taxpayer friendly, and carbon neutral new shot spotter system called find the victim after they been shot

Fat Chops Pigster looks like the Shoney's Big Boy statue outside of their restaurant locations.
Where’s the crisis intervention workers ?? Send them to this shit !
The next big lawsuit settlement will be from the woman (escort) that was raped by the guy CPD was tailing / surveiling right under their noses. The didn't see a thing until the woman ran out to the street. I would have said impossible 10 years ago but now?
This is the new Shotspotter- yelling and waving your hand
Lesson: Don't go out walking at 3 am!
If I lived in a sketchy area I would sleep with earplugs and a white noise machine. And try to sleep through any 3 am raucousness.
They voted for Conehead
I miss Shoney's.
Anyone else remember the $5 all you can eat buffet?
That was the price downstate in the 90's.
Was probably $30 in crook County.
