Off Duty Shooting
Residential domestic of some sort:
An off-duty Chicago police officer shot and critically injured a man during a domestic dispute early Monday in Roseland on the Far South Side.
The officer was in the basement of a home in the 10600 block of South LaSalle Street around 3:05 a.m. when he heard the domestic disturbance and went upstairs, Chicago police said.
The officer encountered the man, and during a confrontation, fired his weapon, striking the man multiple times, police said.
Responding officers rendered aid to the man, who was taken to the Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, officials said.
Two firearms were recovered at the scene.
Scanty details, but we're assuming the second gun recovered was from the offender. No word yet on relationships among the combatants but it sounds like the Officer is physically okay.

Glad to hear he is physically okay. Let's hope he is mentally ok too.
Nothing good comes out of roseland at 3 in the morning a once decent working class neighborhood
106th and Lasalle is pure ghetto, I can't believe an officer lives there.
Good job officer.
Yeah, about 50 years ago….
Spend more money on housing in a good neighborhood instead of a nice car. People’s priorities are screwed up!
Ghetto Rich.
The officer's car was never mentioned. Yet you assume the money is being spent on a car. What a dumbass! Go sit in the pool and play with a toaster
Living in moms basement, that a boy, living up to the stereotype of millennials and gen z
