Lost in the Shuffle
This one got overlooked after the Swedish Hospital shooting:
Two officers were among four people hospitalized after a downtown crash early Saturday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said the crash happened near South Wabash Avenue and East Ida B. Wells Drive in the Loop just after 4:45 a.m.
Investigators believe the driver of a black Jeep SUV failed to obey a traffic signal on westbound Ida B. Wells Drive and crashed into the officers' marked squad car, which was heading southbound on Wabash Avenue.
Best wishes to the Officers for a speedy recovery and we are certainly thankful your reported injuries were not more serious.

For the young guy’s and girl’s, when you hear words calling, teamwork, mentoring and hero. It’s all BS. Some of the highest bosses on the job never did any police work. Don’t risk your life for anything. The job will mess you over. Don’t hard change for any boss. You will get yourself killed or fired. The bosses don’t care about you or your family.
I amazed that people don't realize that GTA VI is already available. The only problem is that you have to go outside in Chicago to play it.
Nothing good happens after midnight.

What is it with the running of lights, speeding? What IS the fascination? I know we were all young once, but there were consequences. (Just got my answer.)
Thanks SCC for also including these officers as you reasoned were, "apparently lost in the shuffle." They too will be part of my daily prayers along with all those fellow first responders who give and/or have given of themselves every day... truly, "America's Finest."
For the very few "good bosses" you are noticed and appreciated by the rank and file. To the overwhelming majority of the rest of the gold star hacks realize that we know the truth about you and its ugly. You are ugly and so is the ugly system you routinely aid and abet. Know this, we smile and listen to your bullshit, but you know you are disrespected and viewed as the fool that you are. You belong at the bottom of a bird cage. We look at you, point at you, laugh at you and walk away.
