Remembering the Fallen.

Posting and comment moderating will be sporadic today.

Enjoy the day if you're off. Stay safe if you're working. Spare a thought and a prayer for all those who gave their lives over the years.

You might survive military service - just don't display flags in your yard or you will be beaten to imminent death.

Elderly Man Left In Hospital Over US And Trump-Themed Decorations At Home, Wife Says

Kerry Sheron was allegedly attacked shortly after 2 p.m. in Escondido, according to CBS 8. The Escondido Police Department (EPD) responded and discovered him seriously hurt and lying in the street. Sheron was hospitalized in critical condition as of Thursday, according to NBC San Diego. Maria Garcia, Sheron’s wife, said she suspects the attack may have been prompted by the political display outside her and her husband’s home, CBS 8 reported.

“They don’t like the flags. I don’t know why. I support America. My husband is [a] veteran,” Garcia said.

Garcia said her husband, 69, is not anticipated to survive following the alleged attack, according to The California Post. Butler’s friend identified him as a Navy veteran suffering from “severe PTSD,” the outlet reported Thursday...

For my dad/father/friend, who lost hearing in Korea, "thanks dad" and many flags out on my lawn this day. Thank you all! Thank you, SCC, as my former employer is rushing out the "pride" bs! Corn-holes indeed!

One of the most somber days of the year. Although I never spent any time in the service I am eternally grateful to all that have given their lives for us to live in a free society. And although this country is going through really rough times with people advocating for death to republican, Gaza, Iran, terrorists and socialism, I pray we come out ahead and get rid of this "cancer". I pray to all the families of our great warriors that fought for our country.

This is so sad and messed up. To beat an senoir almost to death of his choice of patriotism and country makes no sense. I hope he pulls through and the animals caged.
