A mob of as many as 16 teenagers and young men attacked and robbed a man near the Roosevelt CTA station Thursday night, prompting Chicago police to renew a warning about a string of similar attacks in the Loop.
The latest victim was attacked around 11:45 p.m. Thursday near the train station and robbed of his white gold chain and wallet, according to a CPD community alert and preliminary police report.
It was the fourth reported mob attack and robbery in the area since July 24, when a woman was assaulted just around the corner from the Roosevelt station.
The department issued its first community alert late last month after groups attacked two women in the same area within days. Two more attacks have been reported since then, according to a new bulletin released Saturday.
You'll never guess who the criminals are....unless you read unbiased sites like CWB.

I think they should have more " No guns or No knife " signs around so people will be safe.

Surprised the media is reporting this because any 001 officer on midnights knows this is a daily occurrence, usually not reported as such or reported at all; however, the roving groups of 10-20 criminals are a nightly affair. They usually fight each other throughout the night too, which can make some good comedy in the aftermath of weaves, wigs, and shirts on the platforms.
This will never stop, it’s been going on for years. Chicagoans have accepted this violence since the politicians do nothing to stop it.

If Crook County State's Attorney Eileen O'Neill Burke hung those anti violence signs near the area, this might not have happened....

After watching the Chicago local news today, I have yet to see the video of the mob that robbed numerous citizens downtown and near CTA. Fox News national can you please show us the video, perhaps someone can identify the offenders before someone is killed while they commit another robbery.

The media refers to the usual suspects as "teens" even if they're 40 years old.
The suspects in the attacks as groups of 10 to 16 Black males. As a white person that has had these encounters numerous times over the last 70 years , This has been going on in Chicago since there were black males in Chicago.
Maybe post the community alert reports right next to the other signs. I’m sure that will stop it then since I’m sure there is a very good description of the offenders and then they will be scared to come around
