Chicago Values

  • A 79-year-old man who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl on a CTA bus in Logan Square was able to escape, even after the bus driver locked the doors, when another passenger told him to pull the emergency handle over the back door, according to prosecutors.

Carlos De La Torre ran away, but police were able to track him down after recognizing him on the bus surveillance video, prosecutors said in court Thursday. The bus driver also identified him in a photo lineup, they said.
Assist the sex offender in escaping the bus - was the passenger charged? Or was the passenger just another "social justice warrior" assisting an oppressed illegal alien in evading the INS?

Carlos, baby, you would not have lived to age
79 in Mexico. Community values would have
solved that for you.
I demand more info on this geriatric Mexican
back-door man. Is he on SSI, SS, Welfare,
living in Section 8, Link card?
That's some perverted public transportation values.
Help an old man escape thru emergency door!

Logan squirt, that guy who assisted a fleeing felon was more than likely a hipster asshole... also is the name De La Torre one of those name given to people of that little Unincorporated US territory in the Caribbean Sea--- they got a high unemployment rate too. Very beautiful island and people. Your US born population of the people who originated from the island are pieces of shit. But everyone I have met who were born there are very nice peopleπŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

Troll: Gee, another excellent job by CPD! Now lets watch him fall through the cracks of the States Attorney's office. I would also like to know what shitty little town he was born in Mexico, when he sneaked into our country and what he has been doing here since? Our maybe who has he been doing here? If the police recognize him, what is his record as a fine citizen of Chicago?

What specifically did this 79 year old offender do?
How does a 79 year old offender "run away" from anyone? I would have to guess that police response must have been particularly poor that day for that to have occurred.
What does anyone expect the courts to do to this 79 year old arrestee?

SCC,

Not everyone with a Hispanic (Latino) last name is an illegal alien. As an American officer of Mexican heritage and a Trump supporter, it is those assumptions that give validity to the liberals that claim all of Trump supporters are racists!
I often find myself explaining to friends and associates that not everyone driving a car with LE license plates or an FOP medallion or even a checkered head band is not necessarily a police officer!

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say this is not really a Chicago value. Chicago values are probably more in line with most American values. This is either a liberal democrat value or values of some illegal aliens brought to this country by the political party that would like to given every swinging dick on the planet U.S. Constitutional rights, that is, until those same rights interfere with that party's political agenda.

Add the moniker Sanctuary Pervert Capital to the city motto.
No jail, leniency and tolerance - it's no wonder why immigrants of all status are flocking to Chicago.
Will they interrupt his Gov'mint Entitlements while he's awaiting trial?
No, he was released with a ankle monitor.

(OT) The detail? Nothing in here about picking up cleaning running for coffee holding their jackets guess they must of forgot about that;

At least you can see though that this is 100% cloud as we all now fully admitted to no special skills but the big question is why did they get the commanders and sergeants pensions from our in trouble pension fund when they are all patrolman that is the pension they should get simple as that no special skills no special pension payout! Kevin Graham calling you more low hanging fruit for you to take care of to help save the pension find the fire department eliminated the gold braid provision years ago where is our parity with the fire department the highest rank is tested rank and Chicago fire department which is Lieutenant that should be the same as the Chicago Police Department no extra funding for all these people that are taking these merit spots and just deleting the pension even more we are less than 25% funded come on Kevin for the forgotten man and women of the Chicago Police Department that elected you please look into this also.

When talking about the mayor's detail and the resources that we expend for his majesty and his family and house, let's not forget all of the officers that are assigned to 019, who work exclusively to protect the front and rear of the home 24/7/365. Along with this is a 24/7/365 roving patrol (the block), and an officer 24/7/365 in the old fire house that houses the cars (this is a fixed sleeping post that the firemen would be proud of).Don't take y word for it. Go by and see but don't wake him up.

Go down to 91st Street east of Commercial Avenue. There's portraits of 16 Americans of Mexican descent on the wall who paid the ultimate sacrifice in Viet Man. Now that's Chicago values! Thank you men. Gracias amigos. From a Caucasian.

For the record, some of us live in Logan Square, and some of us aren't hipster assholes. Some of us are also Sox fans, and loathe the sense of entitlement that our fellow denizens have, both hipster and hispanics alike. However, I'd like to remove the term Hipster from your vernacular. The term is old, say, 2009, and it just doesn't fit these days. What is Logan Square really like? An extension of the suburbs. Whereas real hipsters prefer the days of old where real old neighborhoods like Wicker Park and Pilsen represented the Brooklyn vibe, Logan is where the suburbanites come, because of the "greenspace" so they can walk their dogs, or push their bug-a-boo strollers. Yes, the Logan of old is nothing like the Logan of new. Nor is the Humboldt, or Wicker, or the old Grand Avenue. It's all over. Thanks to the 14th District officers as there are those of us that respect and appreciate you.

Once again people talk about the CFD eliminating the gold braid. According to a friend of mine who is retired CFD captain that is not true and it was quietly slipped back in by our brothers on the CFD a few years back. Below is a answer from the faq's from the CFD unions website. Seems once again the CPD is misinformed. He also showed me the pensions from the CFD from the BFA. Website and they are a lot more than 75% of a career service rank. CFD gold braid has been back for years

Are pension deductions taken on all wages paid to participants?
Pension deductions are taken only on the annual salary attached to the permanent career service rank held by the participant including payments for Duty Availability, or the salary attached to the exempt rank position held by the participant.

Troll: Whoever above is taking a shot in the dark thinking Chicago values are the same as most Americans is an idiot troll, the troll part somewhat like me. Chicago values are unlike any other values with the exception of those found in most liberal democrat controlled cities in America. SGFU idiot. Go vote Democratic and tell me about American values which are not sanctuary cities. It is also why you have lost so many seats in federal, state and local government over the term of sparkle farts presidency during the past eight years. You do not represent American values.

To the one complaining about police response, offender in custody goof. And the one liking to remove hipster from the lexicons: LOGAN SQUARE IS NOT like the suburbs. Logan Square is a neighborhood in a city that is sliding into the sewer because Logan Square residents continue in large measure to support Democratic party failure. The suburbs do NOT support that failure which is why in Lake or Du Page for example the crime level is low, for now and the quality of life superior. Yeah, we leave our wide open space for the greenery of Logan Square to walk our dogs. You funny.
