Longer Gun Sentences?

  • The aim of the law was simple: Repeat gun offenders in Illinois would face tougher sentences. But a Chicago Sun-Times review of sentences in Cook County since that new law took effect in January has found that no one is actually being hit with those stiffer sentences.

There hasn’t been a single case in Cook County in which a judge has meted out those extended sentences that Mayor Rahm Emanuel and police Supt. Eddie Johnson pushed for and that they and sponsor Sen. Kwame Raoul, D-Chicago, said would happen under the law.
So all of that public fighting and angst hasn't resulted in a single enhanced prosecution. Why is that do you suppose? Is it all smoke and mirrors? (HINT: yes)

It only goes as far as making the law and ends right there. Nobody ever mentioned enforcing it, especially with the KTT Cabal, Kim Tom and Tony.
Meanwhile in Springfield they try and take my guns everyday, Raoul, Harmon, etc. I served, I took the classes, stay legal as the laws are very confusing in the city and county.
I tip my hat to the ladies and gentlemen who continued to swim in fuckery lurking behind every corner to protect us citizens.
No Afghani or Iraqi ever called me a racist or spit on me...

But yet how much money is the city wasting on those expressway electronic billboards heralding tough punishment for gun crimes? Oh, that's right, the city doesn't pay it's bills anyway. Never mind.

They're waiting for the white guy to get locked up with a gun so they can use him as an example of the stiffer sentences. Can't have the black and brown guys getting tougher sentences, since there are already too many of them in jail.

Smoke and mirrors? Maybe some "lasers" should be added to the mix to make a Pink Floyd style light show. This could help calm things down at the lakefront.

Wait a second . . . what if the lake had some sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads? Frau Farbissina, remind me to call the Shedd Aquarium first thing Monday morning.

It doesn't matter anyway. In 5-10 years they will say it racist since it disproportionately affect minorities. Then they will call us racist for enforcing the gun laws. Just look at the drug laws they passed in the 90's to combat the crack epidemic. Now the system is racist.

While you're on the topic, have you seen the Officer Safety Alert about the newly released parolee? Apparently the young man is on parole for a murder conviction which was reported under a "HY" RD number. I'm no math wiz but a HY would be sometime in 2015 which means the offender did less than 3 years for a murder. Only on Cook County!

It's not smoke and mirrors. It just proves what we knew all along! The politicians in this city, county, state, only care about getting re-elected so they can rape, pillage and plunder the government piggybanks that they are sworn to watch over. Well there's the loophole, they actually do watch over them, ONCE they are in their "own" pockets! If a federal agency came into Illinois and audited the various piggybanks, so many people would be going to jail they would have to build more prison space! TAX, TAX, TAX, AND MORE TAX AND THIS ENTIRE FUCKING STATE KEEPS GOING FURTHER INTO DEBT! HOW FUCKING "STUPID" ARE THE VOTER"S IN THE STATE OF ILLANNOY!

Sick and tired Special Ed is satisfied with his strategies as is Rahm.
No need to rag on him for strict local “to the fullest extent of the law” penalties.
He and Rahm are blaming the Governor, Springfield and Indiana for KimmJongFxxx failures and her exasperated expression of restorative justice.
For the record, Rep Erika Harold and the Dem Kramme Ratool, candidates for IL Atty Gen are both on board for a CPD Consent Decree as is (D) Gub candidate Prickzter . Neither will enforce or promote tough sentencing or incarceration for any UUW laws on the books that involve those disparities within urban communities.

Engage in their game of chase, catch and release and their handy hatchet team from COPA will respond affording you a chance to be the criminally charged, “to the fullest extent of the law”...fo no reason.

Screw Rahm and Special Ed.
Stay Fetal
the City is a shithole
not worthy or capable of law and order.

Let’s face it. Chicago and policing is now ended. This was the whole plan by the left to make so much hindrance to enforce any law or stop anyone and no one serves prison or jail time anymore and make everything a racial issue that no one cares any longer. Best thing and common sense solution is to leave this job and city as quick as humanly possible. Leave before we are shot, robbed, sued, terminated, prosecuted. This job is not worth your life or happiness ! This is a criminal city that embraces moral decay and hatred of any white male. They believe we are the devil when the thugs and their supporters should look in a mirror. Sanctuary city ! And thanks to republican governor Rauner it’s now a sanctuary state. What else do you need to know our own states attorney Kim foxx who is supposed to prosecute and be the good side of the law and hate criminals actually supports them and hates cops. Hello wake up. Not worth giving your life for lies of the mayor politicians judges and lawyers who hate us

A judge or alderman or their family members killed might move the justice meter. Might would be the optimum word. Non the liberals would just have us believe it was a case of mistaken identity. Will take several of these type events before they would open their eyes to what is happening.

Rahm is desperate. He needs all the ghetto rats, activists, phony reverends, community activists and other shit birds to vote for him or he’s toast. He knows he’s got the white liberals, bike riding losers, and hipsters already because they are morons. So he needs the ghetto and he’s kissing their asses and allowing them to loot, pillage and commit crimes so they will be happy. The money he’s throwing in the ghetto is unreal. Unfortunately no one in the phony media reports on it because they are all bought and sold with channel 9 leading the charge.

Well as the article states, most gun cases usually take a year to come through the system and the law has only been in place since Jan 1, so maybe there's still a sliver of hope it might still happen? A sliver? A shadow of a sliver? A rumor of a shadow of a sliver? A mirage of a rumor of a shadow of a sliver...?

Laws concockted by politicians are as potent as those who enforce them are permitted, and choose them, to be.

The Checks & Balances of Reality ensures this to be so.

The Law of Gravity enforces Itself.

The Useless must posture at being Useful.

The laws made by politicians are, at birth, null, absent the force to impose their requirements/prohibitions.

Thus, law making politicians have the value of nada, and those enforcing law have the inherent, potential value of infinity.

The politician, as is it's nature, presumes the absolute control of the enforcers of law belongs to them.

Only the choosing of the enforcers of law, to submit to this absolute control, gleans the constant flow of nada from the source of all nada.

This choosing to submit is the literal foundation upon which the politicians' house of cards lays it's onerous, bloated weight.
