- Prosecutors have charged a man with shooting at a car occupied by two off-duty Chicago police officers on the Near West Side last month. Derrien Johnson, 18, was on pretrial release for two felony gun cases in juvenile court at the time of the incident on June 3, officials said.
He is the 19th person accused of shooting, killing, or trying to shoot or kill someone in Chicago this year while on pretrial release.
That "No-or-Low-Bail Initiative" is sure working wonders in Chicago.
Of course, that's if they face charges at all:

Amira Wilson, who has worked as an outsourced janitor at the Chicago Police Department’s Deering (9th) District station, was detained this week by Judge Caroline Glennon-Goodman.
Back in January, a 31-year-old woman told police that she got into an argument with Wilson while waiting for an Uber outside Shark’s Fish and Chicken, 2640 East 75th Street. The woman, who was with her 13-year-old daughter, said she knew Wilson because Wilson was dating her ex-boyfriend, a CPD report said. According to the report, the woman said the argument escalated until Wilson pulled out a gun and fired shots toward her and her daughter. No injuries were reported.

Low or no bail, along with lack of charging, is a "no consequence" end result. It isn't surprising.

Thus, elections conducted henceforth can be audited by comparing image of ballot cast to registration signature.
Thus, politicians will face having to induce valid voters to cast ballot for their candidates.

1.To replace the citizens that have fled Illinois. Remember, Chicago gets more funding if the Census shows more people living here.

They will succeed in their first goal, as, unless our census count is limited to only citizens and legal immigrants, all living human bodies will be included in said census.
As for the your second one, our state's voter registration inventory currently has never been audited, as in, verified citizenship, age and residence, ever. Removing names from our registry is more difficult than killing a vampire.
So, since no efforts to audit our state's voter registry have ever been made, said registry can have an abundance of the following:
Valid living humans who qualify by citizenship and age, yet no longer reside at address listed on registry.
Valid living humans who reside at list address, yet are not citizens, even if of lawful age.
Valid living humans who reside at list address, are citizens, yet are not of legal voting age.
(Thus, for the above, 2 out of 3 qualifiers is sufficient for our state's politicians, for the living humans registered)
Now, as fir the dead ones, they still remain, as activated 'voters' casting ballots.
This same casting of ballots standard can and does apply to any of the living, yet unqualified to vote, names on registry.
Also, fictitious names, fictitious addresses, not merely stale ones, fictiously applied to ficitious names, yes, they lie like this, all loaded into registry for decades, never to be examined until needed to be used, the bloat of said decades available to those who cheat to 'win' elections.
All checks and balances are rendered moot when and where the cheaters control those checks and balances.
