Another "Out of Bond" Offender
Whoever ends up running against Porkulous ought to make this a mainstay of the campaign:
A gunfight between two men outside a Chicago public high school during afternoon dismissal in January involved an 18-year-old who was on felony pretrial, officials said during a detention hearing for the accused man.
No injuries were reported during the January 22 incident, which forced administrators to put Austin College and Career Academy High School on an hour-long lockdown, prosecutors said.
Nehemiyah Santiago, 18, is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm toward a school and aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon. The second gunman is not identified in court filings and it is unclear if he has been charged.
Do you remember what used to keep offenders from re-offending?
- being in custody
And if they offended while in custody, no one really cared because they were committing crimes against other inmates, who were most likely offenders in different crimes.
Self cleaning oven.
