Obamanation Situation Gets Worse
Chicago is going to have a shitload fewer minority contractors around after 2026:
The Obama Presidential Center was billed as a lasting legacy to former President Barack Obama, and its construction was touted as an ambitious model built with aggressive goals for minority-owned and local businesses.
But now, some of the very subcontractors who helped build the 19.3-acre campus on Chicago’s South Side say they are facing financial ruin as they race to recover millions of dollars they claim remain unpaid ahead of the center's grand opening Friday. Overall construction costs were reported to be $830 million in 2021, and have likely climbed past the $1 billion mark.
A Fox News Digital investigation identified multiple construction firms claiming losses ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to tens of millions. The allegations cut against one of the Center's defining goals: helping minority-owned businesses and local contractors grow through one of Chicago's highest-profile construction projects. Several of the complaints reviewed by Fox News Digital come from firms that were supposed to benefit from that mission.
And that maintenance fund?
- The allegations emerge days after a Fox News Digital investigation reported that the Obama Foundation’s reserve fund — originally promoted as a $470 million financial safeguard intended to help protect taxpayers if the project encountered financial trouble — remains funded at roughly $1 million.
So that $469 million shortfall will likely be eaten by Chicago....which is broke.
We're told it's even worse than people realize.

Newscum made it, but current governor Hochul? Walz? Canceled. Corey Booker? Canceled. Where's AOC?
We heard that of the over 120 invited politicians, over 80 canceled, almost like they don't want to be seen at something that's going to turn out to be a campaign issue - namely bankrupting companies full of UNION workers who usually vote in lockstep with leftist politicians.

Basically the CEO Valerie Jarrett the CEO of Obama Land (salary) $760,000.00 in her speech did some virtue signaling by recognizing the Indians who lived in that area “many moons ago”. Usually the Democrats just come out and say we are living on stolen land from the Indians. Of course they mean the white man stole the land.
There is a theory that the Indians from North America are descendants from Eskimos from the North.
Now if whitey stole the land from the Indians, who did they steal the land from? I am guessing the Prehistoric Caveman and the animals. Don’t the Indians owe them something?

Let’s not forget the original $175 million of taxpayer money that was given to the Obama Center by the state of Illinois and it is now up to 225 million. It seems that is forgotten in the equation that we the people are paying for this monstrosity. Taxpayer money should allow free access for citizens of the state of Illinois, but not these folks.
Hakeem Jeffries and Gavin Newsom were at the Obama Center opening. Hochul was busy posing at the parade in NYC, pretending to be a Knicks fan. Cory Booker and Obama have had some differences in the past, so he might have decided not to go to begin with.
For carpetbagger Berry this seems about right.

If close to 100% of contractors were stiffed out of money, where did 830 million go to? How about looking at the connected companies that actually got payed , for doing nothing.
Hell that has been going on at O'Hare for last 10 years ever since that midget POS got to be Mayor. Every shitbag who say they ( men not need apply) are contractors get BIG jobs at O'Hare and fail to fulfill any part of the contract. Causing the City to bring in reliable contractors to finish the Jobs. But Guess What the Owners Rep CCA pays these idiots in FULL .... Hell every project at O'Hare is coming in 3 to 4 times more The city just charges the Airlines through the O&M funds where the Airlines have NO say so in how money is spent.
Why are we sending 20 PO’s and 2 Sgt to the Obama library for a daily detail.? A detail that wont end until “the conclusion of the assignment “ .
I didn’t know CPD was a private security firm. Imagine how much that is costing the city.
Once all the current hype wears off..the place will be a ghost town, its such an ugly building, and there it will stand, no visitors, no money coming in and Chicago taxpayers will be on the hook..or should I say state taxpayers.
