This headline is from the Associated Press and published in the Sun Times.
We haven't been unleashed. We don't "put suspects in danger of death." We've just been granted protection from frivolous lawsuits filed by persons who were injured while breaking the law themselves. We'd like to see the Sun Times print a clarification or retraction of this crap, but we'd be howling at the moon. Thank god we don't spend a dime on their rag.

Didn't police officers swear to uphold the constitution of the United States upon taking this job? So why do "Gun teams?" raid homes taking hunting rifles? For a quasi offense? Who are the real bad guys?? The Police seem to violate rights all the time. How about charging them??
bah, the papers would soon whinge about police being useless if criminals could get away without cops chasing and catching them.
Especially if they went on to do something like armed robbery or something worse.

Speaking of "bullshit", did you get a load of our mayor, Ricardo Daliez, giving his big speech at the rally, supporting the actions of illegals?

I will not buy any so called news paper from any chicago news outfit. In fact I will go out of my way to not spend a singe penny in this rat hole of a city.I also want to know what's going on in the area2 gun team,why are they targeting hunters/collectors/citizens who legaly own firearms? Why aren't they going after gangs?Why aren't they going after and disarming drug lords?How are they getting information on citizens who legaly own firearms?Is it just that it's easier to go after citizens who stupidly registerd their guns than real criminals?Are you illegaly getting information gathered from the illinois state police?You are going after the wrong people, criminals are thoes who are intent on committing crimes.I will give you a hint, they go by names like gangster disciples,vice lords,latin kings,ms-13,new breeds,etc.Why don't we hear about you going after them?

Because they are not competent enough to find the guns posessed and owned by real criminals. To them, a gun is a gun. It is time for gun owners who are the VICTIMS of this police abuse of power to sue. Sue the Department, the City, and the rogue cops who conduct these raids. Also demand criminal sanctions against the rogue cops, their supervisors, and the exempts who allow this.
This city only responds to law suits and indictments. This is the only way to stop the abuse.
Oh, I am a retired cop. I hate any cop who would deprive citizens of their legitimate rights to own and posess a firearm. I also do not believe in gun registration, FOID Cards, or any form of gun control.

what an asshole daley the corrupted mayor! Maybe he is worried PATRICK FITZGERALD is closing in and wants the illegals in jail to be nice to him!
There were some illegals that were grafitting their way east on Washington...they got the FOP hall and other property...how nice. I was there and was DISGUSTED by how they disrepected the American Flag-dragging it on the ground or wearing it like a cape. The Liberals are giving this country away. ship them all back!
But you also forgot the 1st and 4th Amendment rights violated by the police on a regular basis. Gang loitering by your own home? Sure? Sounds like violations to me.

Read John Kass's column in the Tribune today. He talks about all the people that gave the city jobs away to HDO and people who work for Da mayor in the trenches were in court being grilled on the source of the power to do that while Da Mayor was at the illegal rally kissing the illegals ass. All the media focused on the rally and not the insightful testimony in the appeal.

The best we can do is maybe 3,000 for the St. Jude March and he won't show up for that because it is on a Sunday and that's his "family time."

When oh when will PATRICK FITZGERALD get daley! he belongs in jail now please FBI get him before he steals more billions! he is nothing but a crook along with his wife!
Daley talks out of both sides of his mouth at the same time. From one side comes the claim that he is doing everything for the citizens to lower crime in the city, from the other side, he welcomes illegals, who bring in and spread additional crime,as proven in the recent federal ICE raid.
