- Police revealed on Monday their plans on handling the crowds for an immigration rally that will be held on Tuesday.
- "Our No. 1 goal is public safety, and we encourage everyone while exercising their First Amendment rights to be respectful of others without interfering with their rights of movement," said Chicago Police Deputy Superintendent Charles Williams.
- According to a Chicago Police Department news release, the rally will begin at Union Park and then proceed eastbound on Washington Street from Union Park to Des Plaines Street, head southbound to Jackson Street, then eastbound to Columbus Drive. The march will then turn south and proceed to Grant Park's Hutchinson Field at Balboa Drive.
No word yet on where they'll be parking the deportation buses and trucks. It never ceases to amaze, amuse and appall us that persons in violation of any number of national, state and local laws are assumed to have rights granted to them by the First Amendment. Wouldn't one think that those who disregard and disobey the laws of this country wouldn't actually be covered by the protections of the Constitution?

If someone is caught breaking the law of a country they are visiting, legally or illegally, then that person is subject to that country's laws. Stop complaining that illegals get due process. They are subject to our rules, just as we are subject to the laws of any country we visit on vacation. Or sneak into. And I am against any bullshit immigration reform. This whole "undocumented worker" debacle will be the end of this country, if US immigration laws are not rigidly enforced, starting oh, say....yesterday. 15-20 MILLION(mostly from Mexico & Central America) illegal, law-breaking immigrants in the US currently, with more literally streaming in by the week. I've spent a lot of time in the southwest states of New Mexico & Arizona, as well as southern Cali over the last 20 years or so. The demographic change in those states' populations is profound & disturbing. What has already occured there is happening at the speed of sound here in Chi & surrounding areas, with entire neighborhoods & even towns being taken over by waves of illegal beaners("undocumented workers"), all of whom are ready to cry "racism" at the drop of a sombrero if any move is made by the local, state, or fed authorities to round up & deport them.

Charlie Williams strikes again. In my 26+ years on the job I have worked hundreds if not thousands of details. This was without a doubt the biggest fuckup I've ever seen. I guess the plan was to let them take over the streets and sidewalk and march where ever they wanted to. The Police really were not needed and couldn't have prevented anything anyway so why make them march with protesters. It was a good thing that they were orderly. God help us if the Muslims ever decided to attack us. We are truly fucked. Well, with Charlie in charge anyway.

Yeah right! Now tell me what other country in the world has absorbed 10% of another country's population. Then the greater portion of those are ILLEGALS. Illegals Mexicans in America are responsible for 2% of the GNP of Mexico by sending back $20 Billion a year and that is just the monies that we can count. we could state the obvious that the majority of people dislike paying for more than their fair share for something--if you are feeling generous 1)when that SUV with the 30 gallon gas tank belonging to a total stranger pulls up behind you offer to fill it up for the owner for free 2) go into a senior citizen's house and offer to pay (full price) the cost of their prescription meds for a month. 3)spend your 3 day weekend with the districts local "pissbum" who is prolly a veteran who fought for our rights or the last honest politician/lawyer who couldn't make it in chicago politics
for another thing it'll give you something to talk about with your co-worker while you work "security" for cash besides the regular discussion of the fact that your first marriage dn work out b/c you had to take side jobs to pay off your college loans b/c you didnt qualify for scholarships; that you cant afford decent housing in the city b/c there are no grants availiable unless you r foreign born; and the fact the IRS is auditing your current wife and bank accounts b/c someone is using your SS# and it appears that you have understated your income by $16k with late fees fines and the fact that you are somehow living above your means the FBI IRS and IAD will now look into you because like the majority of americans attempted to follow the law (unlike illegals)--except now you have to explain your cash only side business--plumbing/security/real estate/tax prep etc......and how the person who illegally using your SS# is "ok"
