The Lt.s exam, a topic most don't care about but it still shows how the city will f$#@ you over for the clouted few. Amazing that a test that was meant to be off the cuff is being re-given with the same questions. Only 7 questions by the way, so everyone remembers them. Gee, who could benefit from this??????? Everyone should get damn near 100%......unless they added a few key points that only really great studiers like Matt Cline, Dan O'Shea, Lil Wayne, and friends would be smart enough to pick up on!
The scenario which most people believe goes something like this.....The city got the graded results of the test (both parts)and their "people" didn't do so well. The city knew that they couldn't send the written part back to be "re-graded" and putting more weight on the oral portion would not help their chosen ones either. What to do?????? Give the same exact oral again, add some extra "key" points, which as stated earlier, only really "great studiers" would pick up upon and make the orals worth the majority of the grade! Fatty and friends, you have fooled no one. Just like the many other blatant scandals in this department, you have lived up to your reputation as the most corrupt administration in the history of CPD. Eight months to grade a Sergeant's test and now a scandal that will make "notify the watch commander" look like a joke. I can't believe that you guys have the balls to make the rank and file watch stupid streaming videos about ethics when that word doesn't even appear in the Chicago dictionary. I hope you die of a grabber the day after you retire you fat fuck. By the way say Hi to Hitler and John Wayne Gacy when you get to your eternal reward.

Hey 0148 pm, I resent that, we accomplish a lot while dining.
On May 9 a melee erupted at 1230 Burling after an 018 tac officer chased a guy into the building, two CHA special employment PO's helped out (two were at lunch) and the place supposedly went up when the residents tried to snatch the arrestee away from the police.
The police won, kept the arrestee and got one more for threatening a Sgt but one PO got hurt.
This is the new marching orders there, four PO's in the building at all times, except for lunch.
Anyone have any tales of mishaps, dangerous situations etc. when only two PO's are present? Granted the program is voluntary and no one is ordered to be there. Still, it should be made as safe as possible.
If anyone feels there should be 4 PO's at all times then ask your unit reps to file a safety grievance and ask for proper manpower to cover for lunch relief, two PO's in the building is unsafe, no cars, backup too far away etc.
Yes it is voluntary but we do it because we need it and the department needs us because they disbanded housing.
We don't need any more bronze plaques in the 018th District. Request, on the air, supervisors assign additional officers to your building if you feel it risky to be in there with only two PO's during lunch breaks etc.

I thought that Karen Rowan's step daughter owns Hashbrown's along with her husband Ronny Ruffalo (brother of one of the owners of Franconello's on western.) Anyway who cares, she is a very wealthy woman, she owns half of bridgeport and most of Taylor street. Good for her!!

Its sad but true and if it makes us racists than so be it. Never has a neighborhood turned from mostly "2s" to "1s" and the crime rate not risen. I realize that pointing out the truth in this day and age of political correctness will get me crucified but we are trying to protect the place where we raise our children from becoming another Englewood. Think that example is far fetched? Many of our parents grew up in a virtually crime free Englewood. People in Mt.Greenwood don't need block club signs reminding them not to drink, fix cars or sell drugs on the street. By no means am I saying that all "1s" are bad people but "it is what it is".

People are now complaining about parking tickets. For no front plate? And why no front plate? Isn't that a state law? Sorry but I agree with an earlier poster, hatbands and medallions mean nothing anymore. Every piece of poop has them. There's a very simple fix, PARK LEGALLY and make sure your car is legit. Problem solved!!!

Quite frankly, office, I wouldn't want to move into YOUR neighborhood and know that you wouldn't 'watch my back' as I would watch yours. So you can have 'Garfield Ridge', 'Mt. Greenwood', and Hegewisch. I work in 004, and I've overheard some of my white brothers in blue discussing what's going on in Hegewisch. They don't seem to be too happy living out there, and their neighbors AREN'T black. Quite frankly, seeing so many of you on video makes me think I would be lowering my values by moving into any of those communities I mentioned. NO THANKS!!!

You're like Abbatte whining "I just got arrested for Agg battery but I told 'em I was a copper." You don't want traffic tickets? Pull off your stickers and park legally, then you'll get none.

the city has. i live in garfield Ridge and several weeks ago i saw a F/1 meter maid going down my block in the middle of the street writing tickets.

That agency was hired by the city clerks office they are private and write tickets for $8.00 an hour while the city clerks bullshit investigative unit makes up to $94,000 per year and they only write tickets what a waste of money over 1 million + per year for politcal hacks!!

Good, I am quite relieved. By the way you were not able to refute one point I made. Also, the next drive by shooting or impromptu dice game that breaks out Mt. Greenwood or Edison Pk. will be the first in my memory.

First of all, like a typical lib you are distorting the truth. How many copper's kids have killed their parents? How long ago was that isolated incident? Commiting suicide in droves, really please expound upon that. Also, those are not things which place the innocent citizens of a neighborhood in danger. I have never seen two of these (suicidal) teens meet in my neighborhood and give a gang handshake....can you say the same. Here is another interesting fact about our neighborhood, we don't throw our garbage on the sidewalk or lawn. I think I'll stick with living in a neighborhood full of cazy parent- killing copper's kids, thanks.
