BS or Not BS?
Occasionally, we get rumors and such posted in the comment sections that are dead bang on target. Some of it is straight up bullshit. This sounds way out there:
- Last night, in the 5th District, some officers from the Third Watch on-viewed a disturbance. A short time later during the disturbance a cellular phone call was made, and information was given about a car near the disturbance having drugs in the vehicle.
When one of the officers approached the vehicle a white, Ford Thunderbird approached the officer and pulled up alongside him. There were two people in the Thunderbird, and the driver of the vehicle was former disgraced CPD Officer Corey Flagg!!
Flagg told the officer that he called and then Flagg pointed to the vehicle and said to the officer that is the car with drugs in it. The passenger of the vehicle attempted to reach inside of his jacket and the officer reached for his gun, then Flagg drove off.
I talked to people this morning, it was verified that it WAS Corey Flagg, by the officer, and several tact officers on the scene.
PLEASE - warn anyone working within Area 2, and specifically the 5th District, to watch their backs. There were several TRU units assigned to the 5th District last night, plus the Area 2 Mission and Saturation teams, all because of the Level 2 DOC.
Nobody knows if Flagg was working with the Feds trying to clean up some cases and work off some time; or if he was out there trying to finalize anything he did not get to before he goes away, on his own.
It is believed that Corey Flagg was given 10 days before he has to report to the Federal prison system.
OFFICERS, PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
Can anyone verify? Because if Flagg is out there cleaning up loose ends, some people might be looking at some major problems.

they should have taken a wet towell, rolled it up up really tight and then snapped it on Corey's bald head.
why didn't the police go after him and pull him over to further their investigation. he's not the police anymore! Plus, what's up with the passenger acting as if he had a weapon and didn't listen to police commands. pull the car over. don't just stand their with your thumbs up your asses.
1982 my partner and I stopped a car on midnights. Car went passed us about 70 in a 30. Driver was asked to get out of the car after the stop. Looked in car and there was a gun ( loaded I found out later) on the seat. The offender started to fidget in his waist band , was forcibly subdued and placed under arrest. New drivers license, new address ,etc. - because force was used, the WC got involved.
It was an FBI trying to gain entry to the old notorious Gun Court at 1121.
About a year ago, Flagg waved our unmark car downat the White Castle at 111th and South Halsted. Told us there was a car in the parking lot with some heavy weight dope in it.
We told Flagg, call 911 and report it and left.
Sounds like he has been doing this for some time now.

Aside from any need-to-know issues, wouldn't you guys get some kind of heads up if this guy was out there shilling for the feds as part of his deal?

Do these things and nothing else and you won't go to jail or get suspended and you will go home with a lower stress level every day.

I call bullshit! Talked to the copper involved with this incident tonight while he was at work. The PO had to submit an Information report yesterday that was passed along the chain of command and to IAD and a call was made to the Feds
as well.
Again, this is no bullshit. The PO's in the 5th, the 6th, the 7th and the 22nd should be aware of Corey for the next few days, at least until he finally gets incarcerated.
