Had this been Hillary's preacher, making these types of comments, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be calling for her head on a silver platter and telling her to drop out of the election. Apparently it's not racism when it's black hatred against whites.
Their comments are supposedly being misunderstood and misinterpreted just like when Michelle Obama said that this was the first type that she was proud to be an American. Amazing.....she went to law school because of affirmative action because even she admits that her grades sucked, yet she's only proud because white middle class America cast a few votes for her husband.

The 2 party system in politics is evidence of an essential laziness in the electorate, a slothful attitude that the politicians exploit every election cycle.

I recently read the thesis that Barack Obama's wife, Michelle, wrote when she attended Princeton. It is a very troubling document that explains to me why Obama will not disown the Reverend Wright.

The main street press should make inquiries regarding this document.

You know a lot of stuff that you write about is very true. It is also good to be on the right, and not the left of politics. But, it's funny how you take jabs at Rev. Wright and Sen. Obama.
I guess if you don't understand the history of the black church you would think that Rev. Wright's sermons are racists. But, if you ask some black people, they will agree with everything that he said. The first thing that you should do when you quote "God damn America" is to watch the entire sermon. Then you will see how this statement came into play. He quoted everything directly from the bible. You're just like the people that he talked about on Bill Moyer last night uneducated and misinformed. With you attempting to be a half way journalist, it's your job to review all of the facts and "not" write half truths. One thing that you don't understand about the black church is, if it weren't for the black church there would have been more violence in the 60's. Black ministers are the one's who kept blacks sane during the injustices that were placed upon them. The black church was the only place to go when we were being
lynched, beaten, mistreated, segregated against, etc. So understand that part of the black church first.
See blacks and whites view the world differently. When you are white and the system is set up for you to achieve, it's hard to understand when black people speak of unfairness. See, being black means that you have to be 100 times better than your white competitor, just for the playing field to be equal. But, you don't understand that. I think that you should understand the difference between being a racist and pro black. Merriam-Webster defines a racist as --a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. Blacks don't control anything, so how can we be racists. Pro black just means loving your race, and wanting the same things as every other race.
Also, when you are white you don't understand that there isn't a blue police department, there's a black and a white police department. And, the white police department gets all of the breaks and best units.
I can recall being in a few white districts on the southside, and watching the black officers being treated differently than white officers. I.E. (022) black officers rarely working in the 10 sector (it's predominantly white), white citizens refusing to talk to black officers, white officers not assisting black officers on calls, white officers not writing tickets in the 10 sector. (004)black officers rarely working the 10 sector (it's predominantly white). Department wide, white officers get rewarded and promoted everyday, while black officers just sit back and watch. I know you find this hard to believe, but it occurs every day within the CPD, ask the black officers. Guess what, this is just the beginning of the injustices on the police department.
When you quote Rev. Wright, don't forget to quote Rev. Hagee the McCain supporter. Here are a few of his quotes:
1.Those who live by the Koran have a scriptural mandate to kill Christians and Jews. (Look at the large number of muslims in the military fighting muslims everyday for our freedom)
2.God caused Hurricane Katrina to wipe out New Orleans because it had a gay pride parade the week before and was filled with sexual sin.(So he is essentially saying that God doesn't like black people. Yes, there were whites displaced by Hurricane Katrina, but thousands of blacks still are displaced. Guess what, I think he's saying that God hates Vegas too. So watch out)
3. I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God, and they were recipients of the judgment of God for that.
I know you're saying, Sen. Obama sat in the pulpits for 20 yrs listening to that crap. First, Rev. Wright is a smart man, I attend his church and that isn't his sermon every week. Maybe you should come check out the many white members that have attended the church for years. See you only speak about what you hear and not what you've witnessed. A good reporter would go check out the source before commenting. That's what made Walter Jacobsen so good. Second, you're saying that Sen. Obama and every member at Trinity believes everything that Rev. Wright says. We don't believe everything that Rev. Wright says and Sen. Obama said he doesn't either. I'm sure you are a member of some religious organization, and I'm sure you don't believe everything that's preached. Do you believe Jesus is black? Of course not, because white churches don't believe it because than would cause them to lose their superiority edge.
Finally, in this country everyone can choose to believe what and who they want to believe. I know that this is your blog, but you should take into account that there are a number of black officers that support your blog. But knowing you, you would say hey get your own blog for black officers. Which would be another division between black and white officers.
The best part of the democratic presidential race is listening to columnists like Mary Mitchel make subtle threats about the black vote if Obama does'nt get the nomination. As if blacks would vote for anyone else than a democrat. As long as the democratic party remains the party perpetuating the black welfare state, rather than stressing personel responsibility they will own the black vote. And Hillary Clinton and the undecided super delegates know this. So give us a break Mary.

Most Catholic schools that I have seen close are in neighborhoods going through racial change.
I'm sure you are a member of some religious organization, and I'm sure you don't believe everything that's preached. Do you believe Jesus is black? Of course not, because white churches don't believe it because than would cause them to lose their superiority edge.
Finally, in this country everyone can choose to believe what and who they want to believe. I know that this is your blog, but you should take into account that there are a number of black officers that support your blog. But knowing you, you would say hey get your own blog for black officers. Which would be another division between black and white officers.

Dude, you are so high it's unbelievable.
We aren't members of any religious organization and don't support any particular view of "god," whomever he or she might be.
We don't believe Jesus was black because he wasn't. He was a Semite being as he came from Judea and spoke Aramaic. He was Jewish.
We've never said black officers should get their own blog, nor would we. We want every reader we can get, black, white, green, gray, yellow and red. We're kind of single minded that way.
Just a thought about the Irish...
They dug most of the canals in this country along with other imigrants. Why? Blacks were property and worth money. The Irish, on the other had, were expenable. And they died by the thousands of dysintary, malaria, etc.

Hey genius, Obama was 7 years old in 1968. Let's see who you associate with. And if Ayers did bomb a black church 30 years ago and four little black girls were killed in the explosion while in Sunday school,Ayers would probably still be in prison or dead.
