One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting in the 100 block of West Ohio Street near the McDonald's restaurant in the River North neighborhood, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 4:15 a.m., said Chicago Police Officer David Banks, who said the two male victims drove themselves to Stroger Hospital.
I see that Chalkie made an appearance at the Rock n Roll McDonalds during the night. One person was killed. The dicks on the scene were able to get a discription or the shooter and it was the king.

Anyone else notice on the front page of the Tribune they had a map of all the RED LIGHT ENTRAPMENT CAMERAS. The only neighborhoods excluded were Bridgeport, Armour Square, and the South Loop. They had one camera at 35th/King Drive in between them all. The rest of the city has between 800 to 1000 cameras. Call your Alderman and complain.

The shooting appears to have happened at the northwest corner of North Clark and West Ohio streets about 4 a.m. where a police officer on the scene said several shell casings were found.

Why would an Alderman need to be notified when the District Manager is his guy in the District? 20years ago a Alderman wouldn't even step into the station. Now they dictate who the DC is & run the district. THEREIN LIES THE PROBLEM& YOU PASSING IT OFF AS COMMONPLACE MAKES IT ALL THE MORE TRAGIC.
