Kass and Trib Rip Daley

Nice Sunday articles:
  • [John Kass] Turn on the TV news when John McCain is picking up undecided voters by invoking Barack Obama's relationship with unrepentant American terrorist William Ayers and, invariably, some liberal talking head will sniff in disgust and say Ayers is no big deal where Obama comes from.

Unfortunately, that's true. Ayers is a terrorist. But this is Chicago.
And the Pièce de résistance:
  • [] At a time when Daley is cutting more than 1,000 workers to plug a $469 million deficit, he is also spending millions to promote the city's image and manage the message coming from City Hall.
Both articles are a blistering indictment of politics as usual in Chicago and the amusing juxtaposition of 1960's radicals and police haters embracing the capitalistic system of the Chicago Machine. Go. Read. Now.

Obama will win by a landslide. McCain supports scared and McCain trying to let them know that he even knows he has no chance. McCain giving up in Mich, Wis,Ohio,Ind and Vi, will no longer focus on those states as of today. He will still attempt to win Fla, he is only up by 2 points there. If he loses Fla the Republican party will be a total mess.

The Jasculca/Terman and Associatesis mentioned in the Dan Mihalopoulos piece. Does anyone know if the Jasculca is the same as the ex-Daley lackey Lt. Chester Jasculca? Phony as the day is long was that man. Notre Dame be dammed!! The man was a tool for Shortshanks and the 11th Ward cronies.

And then you have this in today's paper..

City Hall has another multimillion-dollar deal in the works for Mayor Daley's nephew and his business partners.

After being picked to build the 269 homes, Davis went to city housing officials seeking money for the first phase of the project: 54 condos, including 13 that will be affordable housing, and 54 apartments, including 43 units for low-income tenants. The estimated cost is $16.1 million, according to the proposal Davis gave the city. Davis and his partners would put up half, which sources said they believe is the money Davis and Vanecko got from the city pension funds. Davis wants the city to give him a $2 million loan and $838,369 in federal low-income-housing tax credits that would be sold to investors.

I don't recall reading about any of this in the Sun-Times. They are too busy spreading the Gospel of the new Messiah and allowing Mary Mitchell to be even more ignorant than usual. Did you see her article last week in which she blasted Rush Limbaugh and closed by calling Palin a "sorry-ass"? Yes, that's journalistic integrity!

PS: John KASS for Mayor!

Katz' PR firm was paid more than $500,000 a year to promote CAPS in the late 1990's and early 2000's. They put up those posters that you see. They were paid less than Peter Karl, but delivered less, as well. Which is saying something by comparison.

Who knows what Daley is paying her connected ass now and for what.

I was around in the 60s. Most of the radicals like Hoffman, Katz, Ayres, Ram Dass, etc. came from very very affluent families. They could go to school and play hippie because their parents had opportunities waiting for them. You had to be there.

I will be voting for Obama but I LOVED those two articles in the Tribune. We need much more light shed on the Marilyn Katz's of this city and the purely sanctimonious crap that people like her and Helen Shiller and Joe Moore have been subjecting this city to now that Daley has reigned the aging activists in. They are all a joke. They came here to shake up Old Man Daley and are now being played like the cheap strumpets they are by little Richie. Who loses? The average Chicagoan who just wants to send their kids to a decent school, afford their bills and walk the streets without fear of being shot down by a gun toting thug with bad aim. The next mayoral election will not come soon enough. Who is gonna run and turn this place around for the decent people who really do exist in every neighborhood of this city?

Daleys approval rate is down to about 50% in the last 6 months. This is down from his all time high of about 80% 9 years ago. I know Daley has his sheep that will follow regardless and those that are afraid who would replace him. But Daleys approval rate is going south. A motivated working copper should look at running against him because even those who are not sheep or afraid are starting to see how he is ruinning this city.

In my opinion, Daley cannot be ripped enough for how he has raped this city. And now we have in the papers news of another slimy deal involving his close friends and nephew, Vanecko.

Disgusting. I say rip Daley some more, preferably limb from limb.

All hail President Barack Hussein Obama bin Biden.

What a clusterfuck for our country. All three branches of government run by liberals and socialists.

Either way I won't be a rat and abandon the sinking ship, I'd rather go down in a foxhole with McCain than ever vote for "that one."

Negative. We appropriated "Shortshanks" from Kass.

We also blatantly stole "aldercreatures" from Mike Royko.

"J-Fed" was the invention of one of our readers though, and popularized here.
