Not a Homicide?

  • A 17-year-old Gage Park High School student died Tuesday, two days after his family said he was struck by a brick the same night that another Chicago Public Schools student was fatally shot on a CTA bus about a mile away.
  • Bowens was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:31 p.m. Tuesday, according to the medical examiner's office. His death has not been labeled a homicide.
Because last time we checked, bricks weren't just falling out of the sky onto CPS students heads.

Can't you see it coming? Bricks to be regulated and licensed any day now.

Oh, and taxed, too.

When J-Fed finally got around to removing the pile of Krispy-Kream boxes and the bones from the orders of Harolds Chicken that soon to-be Sergeant Masterson brought to Phat Phil daily he discovered the booklet on how to make a homicide into a death investigation, which includes the guidelines on how to ignore Pam Zekman's requests for information!

Phat Phil lives.

Maybe the ME heard someone threw up a brick at a basketball game and figured it was a sports related injury.

JFRAUD and the screaming skull will do whatever it takes to keep the city under 500 mrders this year. We are well over 400. So expect a lot of death investigations becoming accidental, suicide, who cares if someone gets away with murder (with our clearance rate they probable would anyway). As long as the mayor and J fraud dont have to admit to the real crime numbers.

New Order came from king richie himself. Due to the increase in homicides by stabbings and beatings this year and the fact that our homicide rate is up 25%, only murders by gunfire will be counted as homicides all others will be classified as death investigations until they can be buried in the stats later on. This will also make richie's case against gun manufacturers stronger because it will show every homicide in the city of chicago was caused by guns.

It could be a suicide. He may have struck himself in the head with the brick.

anything to shoomz the public into thinking the crime is less in the city and that they are a lot safer than they really are.

sounds like what they do in the district where i live. making legitimate burglaries thefts, making aggravated batteries into criminal damage. unbelievable!

OT: Shooting over here in 016 today at that Jewel/Osco strip mall at Narragansett and Irving. Shitheads running into stores to escape each other...shooting in front of the funeral home across the street...get me the hell out of this city.

Of course it's not a homicide. The brick didn't kill the kid. He had a pre-existing condition of which the offenders...oops, I mean playmates had no way of knowing.

This rare but prevelant disease is called Kilnbaked-clayitis. More comonly known as brick-a-phobia or flying object-a-phobia. Not a common ailment but can be deadly if the throwers of such objects aren't aware of their target's condition.

One good wallop to the head can prove to be fatal. No negligence on behalf of those who don't know of this rare head trauma disposition.

We'll simply chalk it up as a learning experience...19P!

It shall be done!

An aside:
In the early 90's Boston PD high lords began to trumpet a story line that by their astute management abilities and inspired leadership Gang Related Homicides had fallen dramatically.

11th and State panicked and direction went forth to find out Boston's secret.

Lo and behold t'was not a secret sauce in the drinking water but a magic pen...if the death was not the result firearms use it was NOT counted as a Street Gang Related murder. Knives, BRICKS, swords, lances, pikes, halberds, fires, falling involuntarily from high places, etc did not count.

Remember boys and girls the magic pen can solve any problem (it also enables loong lunches).
