This guy comes all the way up from Georgia, just to get shot and killed:
A Georgia man was fatally shot early Sunday in an Englewood neighborhood parking lot, according to officials.
The victim, [...] of Oakwood, Ga., was found with gunshot wounds in the chest and neck about 2:15 a.m. near E.T. Lounge at 7247 S. Racine Ave. and was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn about 3:50 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
The victim quarreled with an unknown offender who shot him in the street then fled in a van...
We sense an entire neighborhood in Georgia that won't be coming north for the Olympics in 2016. Shortshanks is going to be unhappy.

You want the Olympics here in 2016? Just look at whats going on in Vancouver right now as they get prepared for the 2010 winter Olympics. They are going broke!!! i was driving thru your city and decided to get off the expressway for food.what a strange place chicago is! i saw blocks of empty lots and boarded up houses. i saw trash everywhere. did they film the movie full metal jacket in chicago?i saw a bunch of guys wearing puffy coats. i think they were community greeters. they would yell at passing autos,run up to the car and shake hands then the driver would give them money. i drove a few block over and saw more community greeters. he wanted to sell us some babies teeth. strange...one of the other greeters yelled five oh and all the greeters ran and hid. i guess they were playing hide and seek. i drove a few more block and heard a string of firecrackers. i saw guys running everywhere. they must have been exercising. 1 guy must have over-exercised....he was so tired he was lying on the sidewalk and wasnt moving a bit.i made it back to the expressway. i was still hungry but enlightened by my chicago experience. have a nice day and hope you get that bid!

AH yes!... The Olympic "Ghetto" Games
I fancy the "Jab" throw myself along with the "fence hurdle" and "high wall scale"!
Dude really excels at the "running pistol shoot" or even better the "out the car window launch" courses. Such skilled excellence!
I also like the water events like the "take out a boat on the river and try and make it back to shore after it sinks swim".
They added auto events too as they got the police eludement course in the "drive like ass and bail" 500!
Heard the added a gambling twist as they get the "dice throw and money grab event".
The Medals never arrived in the "BOX CAR" they were travelling in since it got hit... so I hear the awards system will be as follows:
Gold finalists: will receive a 40oz bottle of King Cobra Malt liquor in a brown paperbag!
Silver finalists: will receive the JJ Fish #5 meal complete with Grape Nehi!
Bronze finalist: will receive a great big/long ORANGE popsicle!
So many events so little time!

If you were going for a master's degree in criminology, you could probably work through the gun-death statistics and write an impressive thesis on how much more lethal a "Lounge" or "Club" is than a "Tavern," "Bar," or "Saloon..."
"Grill" and "Tap" are iffy. Places named "Pub," "Inn," "Stube," "Garten," or "Keller" must be 'way down the list for manslaughter.
I'm not sure about "Place" or "Room," but "Liquors" flat out says "stay away," as does anything with numbers ending the name, as in "Montevideo '99." Squad, we need another ambulance here!
