- CBS News has learned that high-profile names on the Educap flight list include CIA Director Leon Panetta, former Sens. Tom Daschle and Ted Stevens, former FBI Director William Sessions and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley.
- And records show Reynolds took Chicago's Daley and his wife on 58 flights including ones to Turkey, Asia and Sweden.

unlikely scc, this wont bring daley down. he did follow the law, but completly walked the line doing it. looking at the records that were released he cannot go down for any wrong doing.... yet. the probability of this amounting to anything into daley is almost non existent, but could be bad news for the people running the charity.

In the event an off-duty member involved in a personal-injury or property-damage traffic crash fails to remain at the scene, the watch commander or field lt. of the district of occurrence will respond to the scene of the traffic crash.
The responding w/c or f/lt will ensure that OPS command is promptly notified and that a complaint-register investigation is initiated.
OPS command personnel will notify the on-call incident commander and the IAD for response to the scene.

The Daley regime has crafted and molded the power of the Office of the Mayor of the City of Chicago into an attractive position for any future occupant, perhaps the most powerful political machine in this country, (did you see any other Mayors on those flights?).
If Richard Daley leaves or is forced to leave Office, I'm sure the plan is already in place to try and keep the Mayoralty in the hands of a 'friendly', which would NOT include the Jesse Jackson family.
The Jacksons will continue to scrap for the crumbs that are thrown off the table for them, (ie a seat in Congress, an Aldermanic or County Commissioners' seat or lucrative liquor distributorship contracts).
As long as they are allowed to continue to "wet their beaks", they won't make waves. There are plenty of millions to go around if you don't get too greedy ! ! !

Another purpose for his 2016 Olympics is so he can travel the world at taxpayers expense.
As long as there was an Olympic Games where they traveled, I'm sure he can and did "legally" claim to be on Official City Business researching the Olympics for our future Games. If you have about 90 minutes of spare time I would like to suggest you watch the movie, "Taking Chance". It is the true story written by Colonel Mike Strobel who escorted PFC Chance Phelps, who was killed in action in Baghdad, from Dover Delaware to his home in Wyoming. It shows the respect for our fallen soldiers that is given by total strangers to a true American Hero. It was one of the most moving movies I've seen in a very long time, it reminded me why I am honored to be a police officer. As a P/O we have not seen the losses that our military has seen, but we still feel a brotherhood for each other and hurt when we lose one of our own.
Yes we get beat up, ridiculed, second guesses by every Monday morning quarterback around, but I feel it is because they do not understand what any of us go through when we lose one of our own. We are there to protect and look after one another, and we can feel the pain of each other when things go bad. Those of you who chose to bash the police or the military, watch this movie, you will be witness to the bravery, integrity and honor of a volunteer.
Please all be safe and God speed to our Heros serving all over the world, and I for one will always be grateful to all of you.

Why doesn't Rahm Emanuel pay property taxes?
According to the Cook County Assessor's website, the Chicago home of four-term Democrat Congressman and new White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, doesn't exist. While the address of 4228 North Hermitage is listed as Emanuel's residence on the Illinois State Board of Elections' website, there seems to be no public record of Emanuel ever paying property taxes on this home.
The Cook County Assessor's and Cook County Treasurer's online records indicate Emanuel's Chicago neighbors pay between $3,500 and $7,000 annually. However, Illinois Review has
been unable to locate any evidence that the former Clinton advisor and investment banker is paying his fair share of Cook County's notoriously high tax burden.
Why wouldn't 4228 North Hermitage property owners Rahm Emanuel and wife Amy Rule pay property taxes?
One reason may be because Emanuel and Rule declared their 4228 North Hermitage home as the office location for their personal non-profit foundation called the "Rahm Emanuel and Amy Rule Charitable Foundation". As the non-profit's headquarters, their home could be exempt from paying property taxes.
In January 2007, USA Today reported on Emanuel's foundation:
The Rahm Emanuel and Amy Rule Charitable Trust was formed in 2002, when the Chicago lawmaker was first elected. The former Clinton White House aide and his wife, Amy Rule, are its only donors. Emanuel was an investment banker after serving in the White House.
The trust reported having $2,900 on hand at the end of 2005 after receiving $34,000 from Emanuel and donating more than $31,000
During the past three years, Emanuel's charity gave nearly $25,000 to the Anshe Emet synagogue and school [a private school that the Rahm/Rule children attend]..., and $15,000 to the foundation run by former president Bill Clinton. It also gave $14,000 to Marwen, a Chicago charity that provides art classes and other educational help to low-income children. Rule is on Marwen's board.
(He doesn't pay any property taxes and he gets income tax write-offs by donating $25000 to the Synagogue

Take all your income and donate it back to yourself via tax exempt orgs where you can spend it on as
expenses to operate your car, pay the electric and water bills, etc.

Emanuel's 4228 North Hermitage home is one of the largest in the neighborhood, with a side yard that appears to be a vacant lot, making the Emanuels' property the largest portion on the block.
Other North Hermitage homes on Emanuel's block are valued in the $500,000 plus range. According to Cook County Treasurer's website, the Chicago owners of nearby 118 year old 4222 North Hermitage pay almost $6800 annually. The family at 4224 North Heritage pays $6000 each year in property taxes.
President Obama - himself a connected, Chicago insider who has benefited from questionable land deals - may find it difficult to explain why his very own Chicago-based chief of staff doesn't pay property taxes like the "little guy" he claims to represent. Or perhaps allowing his wealthy friends to avoid taxes is part of Obama's trickle down redistribution economics. It's certainly the kind of "change" we Illinoisans can believe in...since we're quite familiar with it here in the federal indictment land of Daley, Blagojevich, Madigan, Jones, Cellini, Rezko, etc.
Even Maggie has her paws in the honey pot. That entire family are nothing but common theievs.

To the person with the Rahm Emanuel rant:
He pays his property taxes. He lives on a larger lot with two addresses. His tax bill is under the 4232 N Hermitage address covering both his house and land. It's public record, you can look it up. Get the pin for the address at the cook coounty assesor office and then look in up in the cook county treasurer office web site.
Though Rahm is NOT one of my favorite people, I hate when people spread false info without looking it up!!!

It's called fraud. They claim each other kid's as deductions, too. They file false returns by the thousands and the IRS doesn't do a damn thing about it. These instant refunds at the fly-by-night tax store fronts help perpetuate the stealing. Some of the the tax preparers are in on the scam for a kickback.

What "City Employees" are these.
Our contract expired the same day yours did & we'll be lucky to get one ratified before 2010. In my 10 years with this job, we've always gotten our contract AFTER yours.

The TMA is Federal security guards. These fucking assholes get locked all the time claiming to be Federal Agents while on bullshit. Don't know what DOR is, but I would gladly patrol the airport.
All that being said, and not that anyone gives a fuck. Ill give the Avi PO PO some support. The DOR needs to be explained and absolutely no love for the TMA.
