Officers Outraged?
At the request of several Fraternal Order of Police members, union president Mark Donahue has written a letter to Chief Cook County Judge Timothy C. Evans, asking for investigations into the judicial decisions made in Gaston's case and in that of Kevin Walker, his 21-year-old alleged accomplice in Valadez's shooting. Walker also had a gun-related conviction that resulted in probation.
"These violent criminals received little or no penalty for their violent acts, acts which Officer Valadez and the members of the Chicago Police Department do their best to prevent every day," Donahue wrote.
Donahue said the level of frustration among officers is so high because probation violators are before judges each day without serious consequence.

Well, get ready to protect the Academy boys and girls.
The city/Caps is going to conduct a 8 week class for 14-18yrs olds. The class will teach them how to get along with each other.
The kicker: 50 of these "kid" are from disadvantaged homes and the other 50 "kids" are convicted felons.
You heard it right: CONVICTED FELONS.
It is a program called the Life Learning Program. They are going to be paid $5.00 per hour, spend Mon - Wed, 4 hours each day at the Academy and the rest of the week they will be "working" in the community with the activists and revs. They will be paid under the Summer Jobs Program.

Thanks Daley, Weiss, Masters, Hamilton, Brust, and all the other fools that will let this happen.
You truly are out of touch.
Leads to depressed PO's. That should be the big concern.
I AM SO FVCKING SICK OF THIS!!!
Any hard working police that gets CONVICTED FELONS WITH LOADED GUNS off the street and get "that" FUCKING letter form the S.A. knew that some thing like this would happen.
F- all of you. Hope you are next!
judges have been giving probation to gun offenders for years. nothing new there. maybe because some of these offenders are such savages that they are held to a lower standard, and that s why they get lower sentences nowadays. be safe out there.
Any Judge that might be reading: Bow Your head in shame. A great human being is dead because of YOU! You sit so comfortable in your office and only undue all the hard work us police officers are doing to make this city livable. These criminals know very well that you and your fellow judges are a bunch of softballs. I listen to you everyday, "If you violate probation one more time..." When they do, you do NOTHING. So please, go now and bow your heads, for you should be ashamed of yourself. Not only did you cause an officer to be killed, but, if you looked over the 500+ Homicides last year, I bet 30% of them would have never happened if you would have given out proper sentencing to convicted offenders. Just think, over 160 people are dead because of YOU! I'm sick of risking my life for this once great city, just for you to throw all my hard work down the drain.

I think I can help. I'm a drunk translator. The officer is trying to tell you that Ernie Brown is ordering his troops to serve warrants on home-based stripper parties, ie- bachelor parties, etc. The officer is upset because Ernie Brown is telling them what to use for probable cause in their warrants. Officer also say's Ernie Brown is ordering them to seize and inventory everything of value at said residence, even if it is outside the scope of said "Ernie Brown" warrant. This entire scenario has caused the officer to crawl into the bottle. That's pretty good for a retiree, no? I knew I'd be missed.

Excellent job drunk translator. The only thing missing is that there is no warrant. Its Ebs life experience and personal knowledge that is the pc to home invade the residence and armed rob them of their personal property. We do miss officers like you and will probably need your help in the future. Just keep monitoring the blog...
In addition to the probation violators, the public should also be aware that offenders sent to IDOC prisons on weapons charges will do much less than half of the stated time. It starts with the Penal Code allowing for day for day good time off and getting credit for any time spent in Cook County Jail awaiting trial. This is followed by at least another 120days off that can be given by IDOC for participation in certain programs. IDOC can also put inmates on work release (back in the community to look for jobs - basically unsupervised) if the offenders have less than 2 years to serve. Work release was intended to be used for non-violent offenders, however, under Blago appointees, it was extended to UUW violators. Before I left the State's Attorney's office, I was seeing inmates actually serving 2 and 3 months of what were being called 3 and 5 year sentences.
Truly a betrayal of fine officers like Alex and the good citizens trying to make a difference.
If off duty police can be held accountable for their inactions, why can judges be sued civilly for their failure to fulfill their court order inactions (i.e. lampkins' failure to revoke bond on the dog after not filling his court order probation requirements)?

Isn't this what Chicago's strict 'gun control' suppose to prevent? So when thugs and gangbangers use guns they still get off the hook? But law abiding citizens don't have the right to conceal weapons? What the fuck..... maybe I should take a chance, get me a gun to protect myself - if someone attacks me and I shoot back, at least I know I'll get a slap on the wrist for protecting myself!
We are all upset, don't blame the judge, blame the asshole who shot alex.
Guys are more than outraged, this depolicing/J-Fraud is really fucking up this Dept. and it's hard to see if we will ever recover. I have 14yrs on and I was talking to a kid with 2yr on yesterday. The new guys are laying low! He was telling me that lets see after Oct/Olympic Decision/J-Fraud gone if they will start being proactive. This is a shame. This is the time in their career where they should be out there learning and taking the streets back but they can't do that. Not because they fear the banger, no they fear J-Fraud and their future. Can't say I blame them on bit.
Someone had to request he write a letter? He didn't know he should do it on his own? What is with these FOP people? What do they do all day, all week, all month, all year?
C'mon.
---not a cop
I like how the other day i was at court, We were dumb enough to make a POD arrest (police camaras) We had the guy selling dope, he was really busy doing what he did, we arrested him got his narcotics & money. Recovered the tapes from the camara AND THE CASE GOT TOSSED!! gotta love br 23!
All the laws on the books of the State of Illinois, County of Cook, and the City of Chicago are not there to protect the citizens and/or taxpayers. They are there to enrich the trials lawyers of this state. Don't kid yourself the "motion to fix" still exists. Actual cash may not change hands (although that wouldn't surprise me, Ike Caruthers is not an exception to the rule) but plenty of favors are exchanged. These too are the same lawyers that would have you believe that appointed judges would be better than elected judges. And who would pick the appointed judges? Why the lawyers! Think about it.
On my last post I forgot to add, find me if you can mr. masters. Sorry.

No, In your case, the judge will make an example out of you. Then upon conviction, the POS's family will sue you and take everything you worked you balls off for. That's known as the Daley (liberal) way.
On another note, I wonder if Daley has influenced the courts to go lighter on these POS's because he has a guilty conscience for sending so many innocent peoples to prison when he was states attorney. You know, that whole incident he denied having any knowledge about. Not to mention it keeps the Rev-rums at bay. Oh gez, what am I saying, he would have to HAVE a conscience to begin with. What the hell was I thinking?
how about the judge in branch 50, who doesnot like the 1330 call. he tranfers every branch 50-4 to the 0900 call. sometimes you are there till noon on the 0900 call!! costing the city more money and keeping the police officers away from their familys. why does'nt the court section look into this one instead of deveating people.!!!

Gee, too bad Ernie Brown wasn't in charge of the warrant on Bea's condo. They would have pulled in quite a haul, including her fucking asshole gangbanging daughter!

Civil disobedience my friend. Time for civil disobedience. It's becoming very clear that the laws are written for criminals but enforced only on law abiding hardworking citizens.
Revolution now.

Watch your shit if your working out at the acedemy gym, wtf now felons inside our academy! Not that they are not already there!
We have no judges, just a bunch of clouted idiots from daley-madigan-burke-stroger and the other 49 cowards of shitty hall!
hmmmm. if you are a good citizen who makes a mistake, but happen to wear a badge, you are held to a higher standard. if you are a savage who makes mistakes everyday, whose life is even a mistake, you are held to a lower standard..... twilight zone? no. crook county.
the media and the thugs are out there with cameras waiting for you to make a mistake so they can get paid. be safe out there

I couldnt have said this any better! BTW all the media hype lately about protecting students from gun violence...would these 2 MF'rs qualify? These are the ones law abiding citizens need to protect themselves from! Lets get the 2nd amendment back now!!! As guns are Outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.....
Where is the midget, he's so concerned about "his" city getting shot up and his school kids filling the list, but he stands quiet, lets others address the real problem, while he just stands quiet... go figure. I can't.
If you catch a felon in possession, can you call the Feds instead?
c'mon. Daley must have ties to someone illegally running guns. All this crap would just keep the dirty money flowing in. Tougher gun laws? Oh, yeah, we need tougher gun laws so the citizens can't protect themselves from the fully armed criminals. That's really working. How many homocides last year?
Daley & minions make bank on illegal sales. Coppers work their asses off (put their lives on the line) to arrest scum & get dirty guns. City takes guns. Dirty judges & ASA's put scumbags right back on the street. Animals buy more dirty guns from Daley's Crime Cavalcade.
Sound like a stretch? Fitz? Anyone? Beuller? Beuller? Beuller?

We heard that staff cannot pat down those special juveniles and metal detectors are not permitted. They will be given meals by staff and participate in scenario training, self defense classes and survival tactics. The goal is to work closely with recruits to learn discipline and respect. This is such an exciting project and a honor to participate. A select few of the staff will have the privilege of participating in this program. This will be a great team building experience.
No we are getting somewhere. It's not the guns, it's the criminals and the shitty judges and ASAs.
Did anyone read this letter???? It is filled with errors everywhere! Does Donahue proofread letters before signing them? It's embarrassing that such an important letter is written like garbage. Read it and see for yourself. I know cops are not the best at their writing skills but please have a secretary proofread things that has attended an high school english course sometime in their life. The Membership already think the Union is a joke and this is yet another reason why it is.

daley loves to shout about gun control because it's grabs the attention of the public and makes him seem empathetic and compassionate. He's never lived a day in his life w/o police protection so he has no idea what fear a normal citizen feels at times. Every law abiding citizen is entitled to protect themselves against the thugs. Why shouldn't everyone have the peace of mind that daley has. After all, we are paying for his protection and not requiring that he pay for ours.

CONGRATULATIONS BLOGGER OF THE DAY!
The Stuttering Prick, head of the Daley Crime Family, struts around acting as if he is a big law and order guy and the leader of the anti-gun lobby by locking up gun owners.
Fast forward to the courts, where all the Daley family and Daley supported crony judges let all of his gun toting constituents go on gun charges. It's called 'bait and switch' and this cock sucking mayor is a master at it.
In the meantime, The Police Dept gets dismantled so that not one strong boss with a backbone is left to protest the manipulations in it's administration. The Outfit must be operating at full tilt right now while every exempt is more attentive to their own asses. What a clusterfuck this city has become.
And all courtesy of this little criminal and future resident of the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
To 6:07am - they call it prosecutorial immunity and it is extended to attorneys as well.
We, as police officers, can get sued even if we act in good faith but the almighty attorneys and judges can't be touched. Fine world we live in isn't it?
Time to let this city burn. Just protect you and yours and your fellow officers.
Give these assholes the city they want...Detroit II.
I hate to say it, but I think a lot of American cities will look like Detroit. I visited a Detroit suburb for a family wedding in March 2009. I went to see firsthand what Detroit looks like.
Any American would be absolutely shocked. I also hear that the entire "Rust Belt" looks like that too. I cal also personally testify that the entire "Bible Belt" looks like that too.
We as a nation are bankrupt (don't anyone fool you). We have to make hard decisions (there is no such thing as something for nothing and NO we can not spend our way into prosperity and borrow our way out of debt) but no one wants to make those hard decisions.
Rome is falling apart as we see it.

Judges and prosecutors are immune to prosecution. The only exception is if there is "gross judicial or prosecutor miscondicut".
To ANITA ALVAREZ....first of all your comment in the article regarding Judge Lampkin was a little off. I do not have a problem that a class 4 felony sentence was probation. WHAT THE PROBLEM IS THAT this scumbag violated the terms of the PROBATION THREE different times!yes you read correctly, (3) seperate times this deuschbag violated his terms of probation and a violation of the terms of probation was filed by the PO in LAMPKINS ROOM. I mean how can we be outraged when your quoted in the SCUM times " Thats the law." We know what the law is MRS STATES ATTORNEY. When you violate ones probation I believe thats the JUDGES job to take you into custody. I BELIEVE ITS THEIR DUTY TO FOLLOW THE LAW. Now, lets see what you and the rest of the LEGAL EAGLES @ 26th st say when ABBATE's sentenced. Are you going to push for a jail sentence? Im sure your dying to see him in jail....well ITS A CLASS 4 FELONY.....he has no backgoround like this other SHITBAG UUW case did....so when he gets probation and all your supporters come screaming for blood remember "THATS THE LAW."
-ERNIE BROWN
http://www.tulanelink.com/tulanelink/greylord_02a.htm
This is a decent beginning. Do more research. Remember the names. Read. Understand.
They only stopped arresting the judges and lawyers in Greylord because it would have completely shut down the Cook county judicial system. Almost ALL of them were dirty.
Do you think things changed? Do you think the ones they left in place changed? Got a little slicker maybe, but doubt they changed much.
Madigan, Daley and the rest of the crew of misfit criminals that run the city, county and state should all be sent away. We're the national laughing stock because of them and their bullshit games.

Dummy. Get with the fucking program will ya?
I can remember locking up a sex offender for failure to register. Dropped off the face of the earth with his parole officer, got in front of the SAME judge that put him on parole in the first place for my failure to register charge.
Talked to the State's atty & was told "Sorry Officer, nothing personal, I have to put you on the stand but I was already told we are going to lose this one; the judge is going to find him not guilty"
Wish I could remember the judge's name......
If you catch a felon in possession, can you call the Feds instead?
Yes you can. The Chicago Police Department routinely chooses not to.

Are we sure it wasn't some fuck up 2nd chair CCSA trying to get their "conviction" by offering probation so they could grease their way to 1st chair.
If I had to guess it would the jags in the CCSAO and not the judge

Officer Valadez wouldn't have been shot and none of us would be upset and that child would've grown up with his daddy if this judge had done their job. Get a clue dipshit.
Answer. STOP WRITING TICKETS. Cut off the flow of cash to shortshanks, erkel and quinn. They will start to choke within a few days. Stop worrying about getting dumped off 'my car.' A car is a car; who gives a shit! This shit city gives us nothing, give them nothing!!!
My only question is why do the Policemen and Fireman have to live in the city while these Judges live way out in the nice suburbs. Maybe if these same Judges that are assigned in the city courts had to live where they work it might make them think about letting these as--holes off.
Mark Donahue is an illiterate moron. He was an incompetent detective and has proven to be a complete stooge as our FOP President. Fuck You Donahue and Good Fucking Riddance. I can't wait till you join the ranks of our past illustrious stooges (Dineen, Nolan, et al). When is this membership going to wake the fuck up and stop voting for these losers as FOP President? By the way Donahue, your letter to the chief judge was pathetic, you stupid fuck. Do us all a favor and step down now. You are a complete embarrassment to the entire membership!
