No mention here of a benefit for Officer Scott of the 005th Dist.? She's been suffering from cancer for some time. A benefit is being held
For her this Thursday, 09 July, at the Regal theater in the 004th Dist., beginning at 1830 hrs. Tickets are $25. Come out for a good cop, and a good cause.
Is Sgt. Gina Dwyer's father still around? He was a great boss and a stand up guy. Took a dump at the end of his career standing up for, what turned out to be, an ungrateful police officer, now a Captain, a Captain that would never do the same for another as was done for her. Regardless, Deputy Chief Dwyer was a great guy and stood fast for his people.
