Five at a Time
We don't know if it's true or not, but the number of multiple woundings seems to be largish this year:
Five people were shot and wounded, including a teenage girl, in the city's Lawndale neighborhood Tuesday night, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 3900 block of West 19th Street about 10 p.m., police said.
Although early reports stated that the victims may have been injured in a drive-by shooting, the victims told police that they were attacked by two men or boys who ran west on 19th Street from Harding Avenue, shooting at people on both sides of the street...
If the city would just pave over parts of Lawndale and Englewood, build stadiums and parking lots, crime would go down and the Olympics could be held here every four years.

There are these popular events that da peoplez love cause dey keep going back.
The rocks and blows sling, the throws dem bones event, the 40oz curls event, the ho stroll marathon, and the drive-by shoot. These are just a sample of the great competitions one can find at da chalkie lympics.

Its another great Idea by Quinn. (Please note sarcasm)A 17 yr old charged with a Misdemeanor will be charged as a Juvenile. If they are charged with a felony they are charged as an adult. When you turn 18 all charges are adult charges.

Look, there are plenty of things that you can take pot shots at The President Of The United States for, but being a human being and playing with children shouldn't be one of them.

Just looked at the enlarged version of the above photo. In the background, between the Presidents' light saber and over the kids shoulder is a guy hiding his finger!

Does anyone know what happened at Sawyer and Ohio Tuesday 9/15 around 7PM ? I work at the hospital at Sawyer and Franklin...we heard upwards of ten shots from what had to be multiple guns. Response was quick and numerous. A firetruck, multiple cruisers and multiple unmarked cars. We can't find any news about it anywhere and all we have heard are neighborhood rumors that I won't repeat in print because I don't want to start any unsubstantiated talk.
Does anyone here know what happened? Is the District 11 station allowed to tell us anything about it if we ask?
It seemed like a big incident, and since we work right there...we'd love to know what happened.. Any info or a point in the right direction would be great...
