How About That?
We don't write about the Bears two weeks running and they have a two week winning streak under their belts. If we don't write about them for two more weeks, they'll be a .500 ball club.
What? Season over...? What the...?!?
Oh well, maybe next year.

Bear Down till next Year.
Dang it! I took Detroit!
The question is, will there be a 'next year' for Lovie?
HUH ? ? ?
On the Comcast Sportsnet postgame show, both Dan Jiggets and Jim Miller said they would not be surprised to see Lovie Smith AND Ron Turner keeping their jobs on the Bears coaching staff.
Their thinking is that if some of Cutlers' record # of interceptions hadn't occurred, they have 2 or 3 more wins on their seasons record and the interceptions were not the fault of the coaching staff.
Also, factor in the millions of $$$$ that the Bears would have to still pay them under their contracts and the picture becomes clearer that they don't really want to let them go.
Plus they cited the many season ending injuries, particularly on defense (Urlacher, Tinoisamoa, Kevin Jones, Dusty Dvorcek) the natural fall off in talent of aging players (Olin Kreutz, Orlando Pace, Tommy Harris), and a possible NFL ownership lockout looming in the future due to union labor contract conflicts and the feeling was that this is not the ideal time for this Bears organization to incur millions in debt and liability.
Ignore the Cubs! Ignore the Cubs! Ignore the Cubs! For the sake of God SCC IGNORE THE CUBS!!!!
Lovie who?
Lets just say..., Here come the Hawks! The Mighty BlackHawks!!!!!
I will say this again. Keep Devin Hester on special teams and let him be either a 3rd WR or a back-up. Aromashodu and Knox both scored more TD's this season than Hester. HARRRRROOOW?
I still love the Bears.
Maybe Lovie and Ron Turner finally figured out that when you have a pro bowl level QB, it is best to play to his strengths rather than your own predetermined notions.
Too bad it took them most of the season to figure it out.
Still need to do something about the O-line and a defense that is not very good.
So do us all a favor and don't write about the Cubs or Sox at all, till they meet in November, or whenever the World's Serious is now.
You may as well write off 2010 as another losing year. Go Vikings!
the blackhawks are hot and totally schooled the anaheim mighty ducks last night--- niemi got the call and was solid between the pipes in a 5-2 win--- the way the hawks forecheck/backcheck and play defense would make any goalie look good these days but niemi and huet have both made the big save when it was needed---- the minnesota wild comes to town tues night at 1900 hrs on versus....
Did they fire the loveboy yet?
Its the offensive line, they did not help Forte out this year either, he hardly had any openings and ran into alot of closed holes, and everybody knows that they could not stop the pass rush, Cutler was always hurried, however he could have ran with the ball before a few of those interceptions (better to take the loss of a down than the loss of the ball) and the Bears defence was not that bad, they never let any team score a ton of points against them.
Fuck the Bears!
Those bitches should be reporting to IHOP tonight to claim their waitress uniforms......
Pathetic, shit, franchise......
"Jay will still be our quarterback next year, and I may...or may not...be the coach"
-Lovie Smith
not a bad ending to a lousy year, now fire lovie and his staff
Cutler's a good quarterback, the only problem he has is his recievers. They can't get open and when they do they drop a lot of passes.
It would also be nice if Cutler had time to throw. The offensive line is the worst I've seen on a Bear team.
Another thing, during the off season maybe they can teach Hester and some others how to count to three. College graduates all.
Lovie me.
"I will remain coach of the Bears until October 4, 2010, when I will be fired after an 0-5 start".
-Lovie Smith
GOD BLESS THE GREEN BAY PACKERS IN THE PLAYOFFS THIS SUNDAY AGAINST THE CARDINALS!!! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PACKERS WIND UP PLAYING THE VIKINGS AND THEIR JUDAS QUARTERBACK.JUDAS IS STARTING TO WEAR DOWN.
