Last Chance to Vote
Densey and Mary have a 5,000 vote lead, but that's down from almost 9,000 last week. The push is on and there are only two days left. If you haven't voted already, if you haven't told all your friends, relatives and social networking strangers, if you have a spare e-mail address collecting dust, now is the time to get it done.
NBC did a nice piece on the Coles and hopefully it will sustain the momentum that's been propelling this event since February.

Most email accounts let you add several addresses for family members. Now might be a good time to max out the four or five you can add to your accounts, then register a vote from each of them.
Uh, I mean, so every member of your family can vote. Including Fido.
I took a quick look through the Superintendent's blog and wasn't able to find ANY mention of this vote for Densey Cole anywhere. Am I wrong?
Just curious, but why wouldn't Blog 501 jump in and support something like this?
Is the man THAT IGNORANT & CLUELESS that he couldn't see the positive message this would create for the troops? (though it's way too late for that).
The Department should have been all over this in support of Densey Cole from day one. Instead, this Superintendent just magnifies how REALLY detached and uncaring he is towards the Police family.
I guess maybe thats because he's NOT the Police, never has been the Police and never will be the Police! He's nothing but big a pretender!

I hope he wins but the vote only accounts for 20% of there chance for the grand prize. The top ten vote getters get the same amount of points. The other 80% of the contest is totally subjective on Crate & Barrels part...

If you can't find your link look in your SPAM box. I just tried to vote and the link was in my spam box...all you have to do is open your spam and click on the link- the sender wont be listed as crate and barrel either... it says "noreply@strutta.com"

Densey lost a comfy 10,000 vote lead due to the 2nd place couple being on every site, radio station, and whatever.......This will be a disgrace if we didnt show up for them when they needed us most.......VOTE PEOPLE... Social network in the last hour... Type your fingers off!!!
GOT my whole family and friends posting new e-mail address.. reposted it on facebook telling all friends to revote under new email address....everyone do the same...this was a major sneak attack they waited till the last min hoping everyone would stop voting for densy and then they attacked...If they win the first place prise for most votes ill be pissed!
Keep voting, the time difference across the country has an effect on this contest.
I hope with all my heart & soul that Densey wins this because I know him so well & this isn't about trips & gifts. Its giving him something to occupy his time & make him feel good about himself. well I wathced the voting even 17 minutes after it was supposedly "closed" but the ticker kept changing everytime I refreshed it ...

i just registered and voted. i also saw their gift registry for the wedding. im thinking about picking up an item for them, something not too expensive. i think we all could help out a bit, even if it's a glass or napkins or whatever else they have on there.
Mary and Densey got the most votes...Just checked it. I really hope Crate and Barrel does the right thing and chooses them as the winners. My skeptical copper attitude however, leads me to think they will not.....I hope I am wrong. They deserve it so much!!
If Densey and his wife don't win.We should consider a country wide boycott of Crate and Barrel.

If this doesn't work for Densey and Mary (they lose for other reasons except votes) then you better believe that I will NEVER shop at Crate & Barrel again!!!!!!
My daughters wedding shower is coming up...she wants to register w/Crate & Barrel...she is marring a Suburban Copper, but she's waiting....If not the Cole's, she's going else where. And we are a large Cop & Fire family...both City & Sub's!!!
There's still no updated information on Crate's website...
If the Coles don't get the Grand Prize Wedding after having obtained the most votes, I won't shop there again.
Crate and Barrel should consider one important matter about offending law enforcement personnel, they're all employed and have a steady income. No small feat in this economy.
I voted, and bought them something from the registry....how nice would it be for them to get their wish list fulfilled??? Buy them a candle or two....it's the least we can do.
