More Political Infighting
It never ends:
- well, lots of in fighting going on at headquarters, seems like Peterson is crossing boundaries into every other bureau, has Masters ear and J-Fed too, thinks he can run other depts. Now today, former head of Streets and San, Mike Picardi after being dumped back to Fleet and taking a 90 day suspension, is now the Director of General Support Division of the Chicago Police Dept, and the old Commander Bob Roman a retired Sgt who got the spot from Starks is now Commander in the Supts. Office, like they really need a Commander, Daley once again dumps his Shit on the Dept, he is worried Picardi has the goods on him.
Wasn't Shortshanks bitching about "double-dipping" pension people just the other day? And we get this handed to the Department? Daley certainly has no acquaintance with anything resembling the truth.

to the poster of this one.... You have it wrong about Peterson! Its Dugan that thinks he is the Supt. Dugan is the one crossing over into others areas that he is not in charge of!! I know it casue I saw the email in which Dugan was bitch slapped into his place!

This is all we keep hearing from upper management. The damn egos that weis selected to run this department are all fighting with each other. That is another one of the many obvious signs that upper management under weis' command cannot lead this department. Our commander told us that the pressure in headquarters is too much to bear and everyone everywhere is cracking and snapping all the time. Doesn't this just make you sick to your stomach? THEY can't handle it?! Why don't THEY try undo pressure plus depression plus fear plus exhaustion plus no salary?
Hopefully the police dept gives this guy an office with a phone and mirror.

This is the father of PO Roman, who worked stints in TRU, Narcotics "Trap" Team, Gang Intelligence, and now on the Mayors detail. I guess its obvious who his CLOUT is on the job. Oh yea, and to all you hard chargers "its all legit."

OT- I think every one in the department should have the chicken dance as their ringtone on your cell phone. Could you imagine J-Fleds face if he walked into a rollcall and every phone started ringing with that. He'd probably have a meltdown.
Cmdr. Roman takes over from Sgt. W.B., who was the C/O in the Supt's Office until now. Weis wants to make Sgt. W.B. a merit lieutenant, but he doesn't want it to look like he was "made" from the Supt's Office, so he's headed to A/2 Detective Div., where he will be promoted to Lt. on the next round of promotions. Take it to the bank.

I honestly don't care who is fighting,I just want to come home in one piece and that is getting harder everyday.
So here is the rundown, Picardi gets launched from Streets and San, back to where he was, Commissioner of Fleet where he got suspended from, for dealing with a body shop that the owner got indicted many years back for stealing money by padding repair bills. Now we are feeling the wrath of all this stuff, take a look at all these police cars that are running round with peeling paint on the bumpers, these are all repaints from the body shops that fleet sent them too, one was Central Body, the same shop that Picardi did business with, now we nned cars because they are falling apart because the last Crown Vics were bought in 2006, but wait this gets better, by just some slim chance, Former Sen. Jerimiah Joyces relatives own a junk yard that was buying police cars that were supposedly totalled for $200.00, and the resale cost of selling all the good parts could bring in much much more, instead of stripping the good parts, such as engines and trans and fenders,etc and re-using them on damaged cars. Daley got all upset when he saw cars with peeling paint and ordered them repaired, but then we pay again instead of making the body shops that did SHIT work at Premium prices repaint them for free, Now the fllet is all junk and this Prick Daley gives Picardi a job as Director of General Support division, which handles Equipment & Supply, which means buying material from others who can reward the system handsomely, just like the bodyshops and NAPA auto parts do by making great big Political Contributions. Meanwhile we need cars, But the spineless Police unions won't even think of screaming FOUL BALL. Boy if a lowly copper like me can figure this out, how about the channel 7 I-Team, Pam Zekman and the BEtter Government jumping aboard the wagan and roll over to city hall and ask Richie about this, Hey I'm just sayin.
Big meeting on Weds. Apparently O'Keefe blew his top when no Lts. applied for the Command spot under Weis. Command spots will now be done by reverse seniority! You will be working 80 hours a week. You will ignore your family. You will take 26 furlough days for the privilege. It sucks to be the new guy.

You should really get the facts straight. Picardi got dumped from S&S because Tom Byrne wanted that spot so he ran to the media like a little bitch whining about the snow removal costs. Which by the way were lower than the previous years. Then the "someone???" dropped dime to the media that a convict was doing the body work on squad cars. Ritchie called Picardi in and told him to fire the fleet guy who signed the work orders. When Picardi refused to fire the guy and pointed out the fact that fleet must send the cars to the vendor approved by the mayor's office of procurement and that they were the ones who failed to do a background on the vendor ritchie went beserk and suspended Picardi. So Picardi takes the hit for standing up for his employees and telling the truth....that city hall were the one's who screwed the pooch not fleet. Hell, I'd work for that Picardi! That guy has nore balls then the entire command staff put together.
Yeah, Peterson... The one way MF who promised the world and delivered shit. U go Big Boss Man
