The Second Season Begins

Ending on a sour note, losing to Detroit, but high hopes for the playoffs:
  • The Blackhawks will open up the 2010 Stanley Cup playoffs against the Predators on Friday night at the United Center.

The NHL released the schedule for the first round and the Hawks will also host the Predators on Sunday night. Games 3 and 4 will be in Nashville on April 20 and April 22.

They missed the Conference Title by a single point, but it was a great run.

Good luck!

Losing to the wings was bullshit. You cant lose the important games, and that game was important. You're not gonna own Lord Stanley if you cant win the important games. I'll always love my Blackhawks but this might not be the year.I hope I'm wrong.
Ran into Brian Campbell the other night and he said he should be back in the second round.I hope so.

GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!!!!!

---------------------------

The Wings have had a system for 20 years. Left wing lock. The hawks are young and they don't have that kind of system or experience. The Wheelers have star players that play both ends of the rink. In Detroit, they call Zetterberg and Datsyuk "The Euro Connection" In Chicago we call them "The Euro-Trash Conjection". The day will come that the Hawks will handle the Winged Wheelers. personally, I think the Hawks will advance. I can't accept that nashville can handle them. The Wheelers and San Jose are capable of winning or losing in one round. I see the Hawks getting as far as the third round, anything after that will be a fight. If they get knocked out by the Wheelers....
